You must feel like a fool. You've spent the last 10/11 weeks on here telling everyone how Fleur was topping the votes easily, how she was going to win, how nobody would beat her, how everyone was wrong when they said she was only 800 votes away from bottom and how there was no competition for her.

Not only did she not win. She was never in the running. She WAS almost bottom 2 the week people said she was, and even when she gave one of the best performances on X Factor ever, her voting % wasn't great. She never topped the vote once.

On topic - I'm glad Ben is doing well. Didn't like him on the show and wanted him 3rd in the final, but his winners single has surprised me.

Why are you all fighting bout Ben and Fleur???

Theyre both going to do well, both have backing by Cowell, so how about we just wish them both well.

Well by method of voting people want to hear Ben comfertably more than Fleur so where would that of placed Fleur?

Just give Ben the credit he deserves as a winner.

Fleur = Good Runner Up

Ben = Great Winner

Your annoyed your favourite didn't win we get it, its good you have loyal support but it doesn't mean you can put down any act but that complain back if someone says something negative about Fleur

They both have the platform to make great careers and Fleur did awesome to get to the runner up spot but it doesn't matter if it was Stevi Ritchie who topped the vote for 7 weeks rather than Ben...its the public who choose the deserving winner. They choose who they want to hear more of in the future.

If more people wanted to make Fleur the star of the show over Ben, nothing was stopping them from voting for her.

to be fair yes Ben got the most votes but it doesnt mean hes going to be the most successful winner ever - Public are way fickle and the winners curse is the fact that people move on.

Im sorry and all but its true it applies to everyone, he may be flavour of the month now but has it crossed your mind that people didnt vote for Fleur on purpose coz winning isnt the best option 9 times out of 10. Its not a popularity contest look at poor Leon etc etc. 5 MILLION voted for him shouldnt they all be buying his single???

Fact is, more people voted Ben to win as they thought he was better than Fleur. More people want to buy his songs, whether they do or not is another question. But, the same applies to fleur. The small % that voted her to win will have to decide whether to buy or not, just as it is for everyone, not just the winner.

No they wouldn't all be buying his single but would all of Fleur's voters buy hers...Its completely swings and roundabouts...what is applicable for one is applicable for everyone.

A lot of the promotion for Fleur was its about time that "they had a real x factor winner" where as they are all real...differing levels of talent but since they win the public vote they deserve the win.

I hope they both do well for themselves, I really do...along with Paul, Andrea, Only The Young & Lauren...I hope they all manage to secure a successful career for themselves but for some people it was weeks of putting down anyone who didn't believe in Fleur and then when Fleur didn't win some then flipped to "Its better she didn't win thats why people didn't vote".

Im not saying you are one of those people because I havent looked through your post history, you may be much more logical but hopefully you get my point. Ben deserved to win, if Fleur had more votes then she would have deserved to win. If Overload Generation somehow wont hen they would have deserved the win. We may not all agree but the voting public had spoken.

X Factor is ONLY ever a platform...win or lose all the acts still have a massive uphill battle to become legit recording artists. Good luck to all of them

its hardly a small percentage was it, it was over 3 million votes. Well yes I know Bens the winner, I never wanted fleur to win but this happens every year there have been 2 majorly successful winners - Leona and Alex. as apposed to the rest and as I said there could be loads of reasons why fleur didnt get the votes - doesnt mean she isnt popular.
