Oh wow...Sydnee, talk about taking the Christmas theme and turn it on it's head. I have never head of this song before, so I wasn't expecting much, but you far surpassed what I wanted. The song was a dreaming and beautiful choice, the performance also spoke volumes of how amazing it all was. For me, this was your best performance to date and I believe you win the first round of the Final.

Sydnee, even though I love you, this was a tad disappointing. Whilst it was quirky for you, it felt a bit too mature in the vocals most of the time. It wasn't bad by any means and I guess this theme is an awful lot to do with it. However, I also feel like this is a bit of a rule break too. That is an indie song that I have never heard of which wasn't what the theme was about.....

Oh here he goes again! Just because you have never heard of the song doesn't mean it is a rule break!

I absolutely loved that!!! I really did. It suited both of you to the absolute tea and I loved how big the song was and out there. Emily, your vocals were just lovely and when Jake joined, it made it even better as your voices really fitted in well with each other. Emily, you have literally come from nowhere in the past few weeks to being a strong competitor and I have loved your journey from small favourite to strong favourite. I think you are definitely in the top 3!!!!

Believe it or not, The Colourist was the kind of band I had in mind so your mentor has great taste. I really LOVED the song choice and this performance combined. First off thank you so much for coming Tee. I can't actually believe how well this worked. Who knew a soul man could duet with 2 electro divas. Girls, your vocals and harmonizes were amazing and when Tee joined you, the performance just got even better. That was such an odd p[airing but an absolutely amazing outcome and for me, the performance of the series from all the acts. Girls, I have absolutely loved mentoring you and you have actually been one of my favourite acts to mentor ever. You have been so interesting every week and you have become such a serious contender and you have definitely been one of, if not the most consistent act. I couldn't be prouder and I pray that you get voted through to the final 2!!!!

Like your mentor said, it is such a mysterious pairing but it totally worked and you were terrific as always Tee. Here's the thing. I absolutely love NONONO and I used them for a quirky girl like Sydnee before. However, this particular song suits Caitlyn a lot more than it does Sydnee which made me feeling meh to it. It just didn't have that sweet, innocent voice of Sydnee in it to make it suit her. I don't know whether that was enough to get you through but you do have a lot of loyal support and I wish you the best of luck in the voting!!!!

I used a NONONO song once before with Emily funnily enough, lol. Girls, that was a fantastic performance for me. Sydnee, you had moments where you were pulling it out of the bag and Caitlyn, your vocals really added to the vibe of the song choice which I thought was a great selection. This is going to be a very close battle for the final two, but whoever wins or not, you've gone much further than on the real show so props to your mentor.
