Her album wasn't full of covers there are some songs on her album that she wrote herself . Ps: She does deserve another deal and she has an amazing voice, which people like you don't appreciate these days. You'd rather have cheesy pop songs

One of the major flaws with the X-Factor is that the winner Sam who the public voted for gets a rushed album mostly of covers and minimal attention, whereas a contestant like Tamera who didn't even make the final but Syco wanted to win gets all the attention and investment.

Sorry, but she didn't write anything on her album. I just checked the credits.

That doesn't mean she should be dropped however, but lets try and be accurate.

That's absolutely awful and shows what a shark Simon Cowell is. If I was Little Mix I would be very worried. They're the only winner that Simon/Syco still has (obviously Ben too now). They better hope that he plans to devote some of his time to then next year. I know they have an album coming out, but will be be bothered to invest enough in the promo?”

Correction- Steve asked to leave. He won the show in December 2004 but as early as the Tour in Feb and planning for his album in March, he was having doubts about the way things were going with Syco. In July he approached his manager to 'push' things and in August he asked to leave.
All in his book #GettingOvertheX. Don't believe all you read in the papers..

In summary then the public and possibly Louis Walsh think XF is a singing contest but in reality XF is simply a clearing house for Cowel/Syco wannabes.

When she was on the show, all we heard for weeks was "its my time" and "I really want this".Then she gets pregnant straight away, she basically stuck two fingers up to her music career.

Its almost as if she did it on purpose, maybe she had a change of heart when she saw how cowell/the show operated?

She will be dropped sadly. I don't think that Simon Cowell was ever a fan, not really! I am sure that if he was on the panel that year, Sam wouldn't have won!

At the same time it would be nice if she was given another contract, because she has had some small success since winning. She hasn't really had the chance to progress due to the fact she has had a baby and all that.

She deserves more of a chance,. but wether Simon Cowell will give her that opportunity I very much doubt!
