Favourite dance of the series?
I don't think this has been discussed before but what would you pick as your dance of the series?
I loved Simon's AT and his Salsa. Lol, probably the majority of his dances. |

I'll do one for each finalist:
Simon - Foxtrot Caroline - Rumba (her Charleston is an extremely close second though) Frankie - Argentine Tango Mark - Jive Aside from that, has to be Jake's Salsa for me it might not have been technically brilliant, but it was amazing to watch.

I have no idea what the actual dance was, but I really enjoyed Simon's dance to I've Got Rhythm. That was the one that made me notice him and start supporting him.

If you're talking about technique, all the dances above. To me they're good but all rather bland, they miss the punch of a Jill's jive, Ramps AT, Scott Maslen jive or Alesha's VW to mention a few.
Every series has at least one dance (or more if it's a good series and we are lucky enough) that stands out and will be remembered for a long time and this series is Jake's salsa whether the people here like it or not, whether it was technically perfect or not. I can't imagine the majority of people watching any of these dances in a few years time on YT (like some folk do from time to time - me, at least ) with the exception of very few of them.

Simon's waltz for me - so nice to see a straightforward dance without too many gimmicks. It was pure class and very emotive.
Also liked Caroline's rumba and salsa, Frankie's Tango and Paso and also Simon's AT |

![]() Probably for me, this year has been of a similar standard to 2007,2010 and 2011. |

Most of my favourites have been Caroline's. I think that wonderful Charleston was worth a 40, then also loved her AT, Salsa & Rumba.
Simon's AT and Pixie's Paso were two other highlights. |
