That was good! So many styles but all so well put together. Possibly the most passable Lindy Hop ever danced by a Ballroom dancers too

No she won't. The one thing we can be sure of is that Frankie has a strong vote .. and who takes any notice of the judges? If they like your favourite you agree with them .. if they don't they're *********!

Oh, I'm not a Frankie supporter at all, my comment was quite tongue in cheek

But believe me, she will win. Since series one of Strictly I've always supported the couple who came second or third, never the one who won. I joke that I have the "finger of doom", whoever I vote for, loses. I want Caroline to win mainly because of poor Pasha, nobody deserves to reach the final three times and not win. Therefore, Frankie has it in the bag

I agree, I think they have made it this far because the show does push Kevin so hard, much like the Derek Hough thing on DWTS except Kevin doesn't have half of the talent Derek does. All of his and Frankie's dances look like she's struggling to keep up with him. There is no personality or sense that she's enjoying it. His choreography isn't that strong and showcases himself more than his partners. It's hard to tell what her strengths are, she really looks the same to me as she did on her first dance.

I think that Frankie has got far because she has The Saturdays' fans voting for her.

Found it a bit odd that a pro dancer said he couldn't do a raunchy rumba cos his gf was looking on. Can understand Frankie thinking that way but odd words from Kevin. As such .. it only works for me when their dances are light and frothy. However, did love the green tango.

I think he was joking, the pro's know that a dance, no matter how "raunchy" is just a dance.

do you really think that a raunchy rumba would have gone with their music????

Re the Derek hough comment above - when Kevin and Derek competed - Kevin beat Derek the twice Derek lists on his CV as runner up Briitish championships it was to Kev and Anna

I don't think he was .. he spoke one of the most disturbing sentences I've ever heard ... 'we wanted to do a rumba .. that would appeal to children'

I am with you both Olive and Monagg...Frankie and Pixie were brilliant straight out of the gate..but they havent improved and her performing background for me, has made her a little too automated in going through the motion of the dance, and not through the emotions of the dance.

A ballroom based showdance is nice..but thats all it is..Pamela and James did a lovely one for their showdance plus the others that have also been mentioned, and none of them won. I also think that the music could have been more original..Kimbers used it for her QS two years ago.

Well 90% of music this year has been used before.

I thought the routine that Kevin put together was first class, he choreographed a story that went with the music. I thought that Frankie danced it really very well, going in and out of character during the dance. I loved it. A refreshing change.

I just hope they have something more interesting than weightlifting to music for a guest dance slot.

Thought Kevin did some sort of Ballroom theme for Susanna's show dance last year.

I think Kevin was covering for Frankie, who has said that she dreaded the rhumba. I don't think SHE wanted to do anything raunchy, so Kevin put together rather a charming piece that she was comfortable with. I don't believe for a second Kevin is uncomfortable with the rhumba, he's just backing up Frankie.

Rather gentlemanly actually.

I am mostly saddened by the fact Kevin chose to do twee choreography yet again. Surely there are alternatives if you want to do a rumba that still includes a significant amount of basic steps & moves.

To be fair, it came across pretty strongly on this occasion, that Frankie wasn't prepared to do either raunchy or romantic. I'm not sure what he could have done really.

And their rhumba wasn't bad, a few rhumba moves in there. It wasn't great and had a couple of funny moments, but not anything really terrible.

And yet the AT was full of attack. So it seems to be an erroneous impression the celebrity has of a rumba causing the problem.

Her (large) fan base appears to be her Saturdays followers of a certain age who don't necessarily look for all the nuances that many DS posters like to see. They therefore don't notice any lack of connection, of emotion, of sensuality, of love of (or joy in) dancing that some of us do; she's simply their idol however she dances...and they vote.

I will be surprised if Frankie Simon and Flackers are not the top 3 but I would rather Mark than Simon

Well she's in the final and has never been in dance off so most people have seen a lot of connection, emotion, of sensuality, of love (or joy in) dancing. Of course people who don't like Frankie and Kevin are not gonna feel that from her.

I wish we knew the three dances it would be easier to predict 4th place

I agree with this he just wants to be as good as Artem which he is not and never will and he chooses to do a similar theme choice for his and Frankies showdance,he should be more original and not copy.Desperate to win possibly.

That show-dance was amazing and showcased Natalie's ability beautifully. Unfortunately, Frankie has a different dance skill so the same approach will not work.

So just because he's doing a Fred and Ginger Ballroom showdance means he wants to be as good as Artem and desperate to win? What about Tom and Camillas showdance? Didn't Artem copy Camilla?

Honestly, the level of hatred towards Kevin on here, picking on everything he does, is really getting too much...

If Kevin choreographed a ballroom show dance without too many tricks it would work brilliantly. Frankie does ballroom beautifully. Trouble is Kevin has a habit of throwing the kitchen sink into everything and this year in particular has gone OTT on the twee.
