Well he can't exactly sing so maybe he'll be the next Rylan

He really has no shame and seems determined to make a career out of appearing on every reality TV show that will have him. I guess at least it's keeping him employed, as he clearly can't get a real job.

Talking about Big Brother

which 10 DS forum users would you like to see in the show. You can either do the whole of the ds forum or just x factor users

I don't understand why people keep calling him desperate. When he was offered I'm A Celebrity, he would have been an idiot to turn it down. He obviously wouldn't have been paid as big a fee as the others who went on it, but he would have got in excess of £25,000 (the big names can get up to £100,000 soemtimes). For someone like Jake, £25,000 (he would have got more than that) for 4 weeks work would have helped changed his life. Then there's all the opportunities he would get afterwards from being on the show. If he was offered Big Brother and had accepted, he probably would have got paid a slightly higher fee as they usually pay the contestants a bit more. I don't think he's despertate at all...he's doing the smart thing and getting the money while he can. He would never have made it big from X Factor and been a big star...that was obvious, and from watching his interview on Xtra Factor afterwards, it seemed like he had realsied that too.

I agree. He's arguably too big for CBB now. Why demean himself? He's not Gary Busey ffs!

I wish him well perhaps in a presenting role on ITV2/Be or something like that. I think the fact he's northern helps endear himself to people i.e. he's not a Murs style southern twonk!

Talentless banal nobody who is cringeworthily desperate, even more so than the rest of them.

The sooner he and his ilk disappears from my tv and media the better.

I think Chloe has been asked to do Celeb BB.

It's his desperation for fame that depresses me. He isn't a particularly good singer yet somehow made it onto the X Factor live shows and at that point he claimed singing was what he wanted to do and what he'd be working hard at - despite the great quip from one of the judges that if he wants to be a singer he needs to spend more time in the studio and less in the gym.

Then as soon as he's been booted off, rather than working hard at his music - which he claimed was all he wanted - he's straight in the jungle. He's a fame whore with limited talent and it annoys me that he is given airtime. I will just avoid anything he is on so I don't have to be subjected to his vacuous attention seeking, but it irritates me when I think of people who genuinely want to make it in music who missed out on the live shows just so this pathetic wannabe could cry about his dead brother and in the next breath claim he didn't want to talk about him.

Totally agree with this, he went on the show just for fame he don't give a care for music. He had a sob story and was okay looking - he could barely string a vocal performance together.

It's such a shame he was even put in the jungle he is barely a Z lister why he was even put in the jungle is weird he had been on X factor all of 5 minutes!

Oh come on, most x factor 'acts' are just karaoke singers who go backto their day job as soon as they get the boot! It's no different to stars in their eyes. Jake hardly robbed anybody of their place. He's playing the fame game better than many of them at the minute.

I hope he doesn't do CBB. I'm personally sick of the sight of him. He needs to give the viewing public a break. Then next year he can appear in the new "Stars in their Eyes" .....as Ben Haenow.

How long does CBB last? He's just announced a homecoming gig in Scunny on 6th February..does that bookend the CBB series?

I wouldnt be surprised if he does it it was rumoured here while he was still in the jungle as he signed to a big PR company, with links to Big Brother production.

Shirley you can't be serious?

Don't call me Shirley! I know Rylan went on it after XF but that was the catalyst to his 'career'. Jake's already done the reality show after the reality show and come out a massive public favourite so his reputation could only be harmed by going into CBB which is traditionally the place for washed up has beens. Jake needs to ride the crest of a wave and get some better TV work than CBB.
