Yup! It certainly is . Luckily I'm not going to be around to watch it.

Frankies and essex girl too but I'll be voting for the boys this year though expect Caroline to win.”

Oh no, not the 'h' word again.

Not a single one of the posts on this thread has expressed anything remotely resembling hatred. Irritation and frustration certainly, and some outright dislike, but absolutely no hatred.

It would take a truly disturbed person to hate someone they have never met who is participating in a dance competition.

Anyone using the 'h' word in the SCD forum should have their licence to post revoked for a month!

I have one thank you. I just wonder if he would have one himself if he read this stuff.

I'm sure he's used to a whole range of views from his time on TOWIE.

Yes, what a hilarious and clever post.

If I find a whole thread is bordering on nasty, I am entitled to say so.

I was actually on your side there, but never mind.

Yes, Mark is very heavy-handed in getting his point across. He'll just bludgeon away until the listener submits.

Caroline very funnily shut him down on Breakfast this morning while he was mid UNDADOG spiel.

I agree.

Lol, disappointed that I missed that.

In a nutshell!

This thread has helped me to find the whole thing funny instead of quite so annoying with bits about him still having his tears and being ejected into space!

I do find he and Karen use pretty insincere tactics though and it amazes me that a lot of people lap it up.

Its just a bit of fun to be fair I wouldn't be surprised if Marks mates have been winding him up with similar banter.

I agree with that. I don't know why people feel entitled to make personal remarks about how someone speaks, or looks. Personally Mark seems perfectly sincere to me, and although he is not my favourite, I think he should be judged on his dancing ability, not on whether or not he speaks with Received Pronunciation. As to whether he says too much, or says it too often, I don't think he does.

I have no problem with the way he speaks. My issue is with what he says. He may be sincere, but that's not the way he comes across to me. He comes across as if he's following a 'How To Be A Reality TV Contestant' guide, complete with soundbytes and 'sincere' smiles to camera.

If I had one piece of advice for Mark it would be "Stop following the 'How To Be A Reality TV Contestant' guide and just be yourself."

That's it for me as well. I'm from South London and have so many mates from Essex so it's not the accent, it's just the complete and utter banal crap that sprouts from his mouth that makes me cringe and hide my face behind a pillow. He's just so desperate and has cheese oozing out of every pore.
