I missed Margaret on the panel .

She perched next to Lord Alan Sugar and Nick Hewer in The Apprentice boardroom for five long series', before going on to interview potential candidates in the latter stages.

But it now appears as though Margaret Mountford, like many entrepreneurs before her, has also been fired from the BBC1 show.



The 63-year-old, who did not appear in Wednesday's night episode which saw Daniel Lassman, Roisin Hogan, Solomon Akhtar, Bianca Miller and Mark Wright grilled by four of the businessman's advisers, said she wasn't contacted to appear in the show for the first time in four years.

To be honest, I fail to recall anything that I learned about any of the candidates from her interviews. She appeared to be employed to read quotes from people's CVs and pull funny faces.

I thought Ricky was so much better than Margaret, I hope he stays.

Ricky knew exactly what he was doing, and conducted it like a proper interview, the role play with Mark was great Maragret, as much as a part of the apprentice family she is, brought nothing to the interviews and has rightly been moved on imo

I agree - her interviews always felt strangely flat if I'm honest.
