I hate to say it, but at this stage, Mark is looking best!

It does look good, so does Simon and Caroline's. Hopefully, Simon's showdance is alot faster. I'm not sure about Frankie's.

KFG looked like he had taken a summer job at a Canadian logging company (and won't be getting promoted anytime soon).

Hopefully Simon's footage is from an earlier phase of training. Looks good, but very unsure.

Caroline appears to be reenacting SEB's shop window mannequin AT as a showdance!

I thought Mark and Karen's looked poor in dancey bits lifts looked ok, Caroline's shows promise and you could not see much of Simon's or Frankie's as they were stepping through groups of the routine more than anything

Lol at your comments about Kevin and Caroline.

The way Kristina was counting, makes me think that the footage is from, when she was first teaching Simon, the showdance.

I'm sure they will all be vastly improved on the night. It sounded like Caroline was afraid of getting dropped and Frankie seems just as unsure as Simon.

Kevin's showdance last year really did have me in stitches, it was as if he were twirling a semi used vileda supermop around the dance floor.

Looks like Mark is doing a jive based showdance which could be really good for him.

Looks like Mark and Karen will have a lot of lifts and tricks which is what I thought she would do with him. It's a clever way to disguise other issues, though he was quite good at the jive.

Hard to really say how they look as it is in the early stages, but I hope we have some good showdances

At least noone is going down the boring disco latin route.

Caroline is looking lovely .. I can see why Ian Waite is excited about it. Mark's looks like everything has been thrown in .. and it's a bit amateurish. Hard to tell with Frankie and Simon's as they look like they're still just walking it through.

I hate Caroline's music but love the look and feeling of Frankie's dance .

I'm a bit "meh" about Carolines showdance so far, the training clips have not impressed me BUT sometimes the dance looks nothing like the training clips so I shall remain open-minded until I see it in full. Ian Waites description of her hanging on like a koala made me giggle because that's exactly how it looked to me.

Hopping about on benches, really Kevin...

All I remember from his previous showdance is Susannah clinging on for dear life.

Mark could easily pip one of the more favoured three to the first vote off, his showdance looks fun.

I have a feeling Frankie could be first out in a shock like Sophie last year, I don't know why but I think Kristina may worry this is her last year, especially as they seem to be grooming Trents wife for next year. I hope not she has made a lot of new fans this year.

I think that Frankie, will definitely make the top 3.

With Kristina, I think that Simon is her best shot, at winning the glitterball. Apart from Simon and Jason, she hasn't had very good partners. If she doesn't win, she might decide that she doesn't want to bother, anymore and instead, focuses on her career, outside Strictly. Also, next year, she is 38, she might want to settle down and have kids.

I'd hate to see Kristina go. I absolutely adore her as a professional dancer. I think she is fantastic and has shown with Jason and more recently Simon what a fantastic choreographer she is. I would be very sad to see her leave.

As for the showdances I thought that Kristina and Simons' looked good, as people have said it looked like they were walking through it, pacing it out. I thought Mark & Karen's looked seriously hot paced and frantic which could well work as an entertaining showdance. I was surprised that Kevin had opted for the ballroom route again for his showdance which makes me think that maybe he is not confident in Latin either or perhaps he knows that Frankie feels more comfortable dancing ballroom than latin so has choregraphed something which suits her strengths.

Out of all of them I was least impressed with Pasha and Caroline. I just didn't like the idea of a rumba based showdance it looks a bit contrived. I really love Pasha. He has been soooo close to winning this title and I just watched that clip and thought is he going to blow it again?

From my perspective I do prefer the latin based showdances, lots of lifts and tricks but I also like it when the duo mix in the best bits from all of their dances taking the viewer on the dance journey.
