Perhaps she's so far ahead in the voting that they are spinning it a bit, to make her look worthy of winning?

Yes you probably are right.

On the Charleston maybe, but her A.Smooth was anything but! Caroline just hasn't mastered the essential "smooth" and elegance for any of her ballroom dances, to say nothing of her posture

I kind of agree with you. Caroline has unabashed PERFORMANCE - frankie makes more of a decent fist of correct technique but has an aura of shyness sometimes (which worked really well last week in her sweet Rumba and I'm glad to say wasn't present at all in her argentine tango.)

I'm really split between who I want to win. Caroline because I enjoy watching her dancers and to see the meltdown of the "she's a ringer" brigade, Frankie because I kind of see myself in her a little bit or Simon for his lovely ballroom routines.

I am disappointed in Caroline to be honest covering up her past dancing.

I prefer Frankie's personality, hopefully she'll be quiet but deadly tonight. I wanted Caroline to finish second but now I would prefer a Frankie/Simon first and second.

It's not exactly a huge mistake? Their Paso is still my favourite dance from them and will be remembered for earning them the first 10 of the series and how amazing it was at the time (on top of this: Kevin's speciality is the Paso so it bodes well for them). To add on top of this - the make up for the Tango would've taken too long and had they done the performance without the make-up, it wouldn't have had the same effect!
