Hope this helps. Is this your first "Cover Competition"? If so you'll love it! Some of the ideas are so good you wonder why RT didn't use them!”

Thanks Wizz! Yes, this is my first attempt at the Cover Competition, and my entries for your quiz were also my first. The dates for next year, and quarter, half and three quarter way points, are already in my Apple Calendar! So, my cover guess:

Shaun the sheep in full Christmas mode, on the basis that RT seems to like Aardman covers having produced two Wallace & Gromit ones in the last few years.

It's a Downton theme next week so probably won't be at Christmas.

wizzywick : A knitted effect. Either in the form of a traditional knitted jumper with snowflakes or snowman or a traditional scene. But, whatever the cover reveals itself to be it will appear to have the look that it has been created by knitting with wool

judomole : The Cover will be Shaun the sheep based on the new episode "The Farmers Lama"
Featuring Shaun and the rest of the flock, Bitzer the dog the Farmer and a lama gathered round a Christmas tree with snow in the background

altally : My guess is a Santa theme, similar to 1991, 1995, and 1997

marke09 : A Shaun the Sheep special from Aardman -
The farmer will be dressed as Santa handing out presents to Bitzer and Shaun, with Timmy dressed as an elf
In thebackground will be the rest of the sheep trying to decorate a Christmas tree but a string of lights will be around the biggest sheep -
the pigs will be dressed as the three wise men.
Also in the background will be the farmhouse with Santa's reindeer and sleigh on the roof and Santas wellies sticking out from the chimney pot.

It will also be an interactive cover so when you use an app it will have Shaun bleating MERRRRRY Christmas

Ian_Stevens : Cover to incorporate Sherlock and the Tardis to publicise both shows with a "Christmasy" background

pedrok : A traditional snowy village scene.

StuL42 : Santa, with sack of gifts, putting gifts under a Christmas tree

smokeycat : a big Christmas pudding, maybe with a robin

Claires_dad : a Sherlock cover with Sherlock Holmes and Watson in a snowy Victorian London

Aaron_Cardwell : I think we will see a traditional cover comprising of a snowman and a robin will be perched on his twig arm. With Santa 'whooshing' off above the night sky

FootballFan87 : Santa delivering presents, flying in the sky

SHANK0055 : A large fireplace with a roaring fire, Christmas garland, stockings hung etc

nd : Victorian carol singers beneath a street lamp in the snow

vinnyvega : a victorian snowy street scene, featuring Sherlock Holmes, all inside a snow globe. Flying out from behind the snow globe is Father Christmas flying into the night on his sleigh

tanni1930 : the cast of Downton Abbey in a Christmassy scene

If I've missed anyone off please let me know!”

I entered as well dude

My entry for cover competition: After last years practically unguessable cover, that was so far out of leftfield, this year my guess will be something I would like to see.

Two stained glass windows, one featuring a snowman and the other featuring Father Christmas complete with sack of presents.

Good luck all.

I like it.

Though I wonder if it would upset some people; you associate stained glass windows with church, so using them for secular figures might not go down well.

This is very odd - the NationalTitle File has updated and is now showing details for Christmas Radio Times Wales (the only edition its showing at moment) - it has the barcode number barcode week 52 on sale December 9 2015 off sale December 29 2015 but the price is £2.80!! Think that will change in the next 3 weeks -poss £3.80 so as to keep away from the £4 mark

Wouldn't be surprised if it's £3.95

Hi, long time lurker of this thread. Thought I would de-lurk to enter the guess the front cover competition.
My guess is a big red post box with snow on the top and a robin sitting on a nearby fence on a snowy street.
Hope that's ok.
