I hate that with the recent winners videos, since Little Mix I believe, there isn't any new footage. It's just lazy
Ugh, that is dreadful, even by the standards of clip videos. Looks so cheap and hashed together.

Actually my video would be better because all the footage would be speeded up instead of slowed down for maximum LOL effect.

It is dreary but compared to some of the other winner's singles I have to admit I think it's one of the half decent ones, ranked nicely alongside When We Collide and That's My Goal imo.

That's My Goal was terrible too - pure cringe. I always hated those songs that clumsily referenced the acts 'journey'. When We Collide was decent because it was something genuinely different for a winner's single at the time.
But it's not just the song itself, it's the production. It sounds really lifeless and somewhat dated. Like a Def Leppard b-side or something.
X Factor spent all their budget on the live shows so probably didn't have much money left to pay someone to produce Something I Need and make it sound incredible.
