Got my 5.01 update last night which is supposed to give you a silent mode... how do I activate this as I can't find it!
Thanks |

You mean a quiet hours thing? It's in settings, sounds & notifications, interruptions (called downtime)

Silent mode allowed the phone to be silent and have no vibration but still allow LED notifications. This mode you can have no sound but have to have vibration and LED notifications or nothing at all. |

I'm glad I haven't updated my Nexus 5 to lollipop if it removes the ability to put your phone on silent.

I already had powertoggles installed which gives you the old options of silent, vibrate, ring.

It's coming in 5.1 supposedly; it's not been re-added yet.
