Apple: "Fails to protect workers"

Yet again the comparisons.

The documentary was about claims that apple had made that were false.
They were not shown to be false at all.

Did the programme show that whatever Apple are doing is not yet 100% effective?

Absolutely.

Did the programmed show that Apple have been doing nothing? Absolutely not.

You can surely tell the difference between the two?

You dismiss the notion of making comparisons.

But how else can we know if Apple (or anyone, in any given example) is making a difference, if not by making comparisons?

My 5 pence worth.

I have worked in factories in the UK that believe it or not had worse working conditions.

Apple will obviously be aware of whats going on, but there is a very clear reason to offshore this type of stuff, it isnt just for cost savings but also the fact they can create distance to where the workforce is and ultimately take advantage of a less advanced society.

The factories I worked at the answer to people moaning was simple "if you dont like it leave, we can replace you easily". Which sadly was true.
