I cannot see a "Five thoughts" thread for the final so I thought I would start one.

1. Whoever wins will be a good dancer!
2. I would like Pasha to win.
3. I would like there to be NO BOOING when the judges make comments.
4. I hope the judges mark the dances according to their difficulty and expertise!
5. I hope everyone - celebrities, professionals and the viewing audience have a great time tonight! And that includes all of us.

1: absolutely no backing dancers please
2: for the first time I have no firm favourite so am relaxed
3: So delighted to have Claudia back and taking part in the final . Not least because it means her daughter is doing well
4: i hope all dancers are in full health and no mishaps or tumbles
5: recorder all set and I will enjoy watching it all a few times and watch the pros instead of the celebs tomorrow

1. No backing dancers please (though presumably there'll have to be if Caroline gets to dance her Charleston)
2. Decent showdance choreography please (to be fair, all aside from Frankie's looked good on the training footage)
3. As long as Frankie doesn't win I don't really mind who does - and admittedly even that is more because i don't want Kevin to win. it'll be a travesty if Simon doesn't get through to the second half though - I want to see that AT again!
4. Hope the judges' choices are fair - I think 3 of them are predictable or have sort of been leaked but have no idea what Simon's will be!
5. Looking forward to seeing Jake & Janette again in the group dance

1. Loved Craig's comments to Simon, and hope Simon takes the joy of this experience into his life to help him in the future.

3. I WOULD have liked to see Pixie and Trent do a showdance, I think it would have been phenomenal.

1. Caroline's showdance was so magical. I was crying within the first 5/10 seconds. I'm still a bit in shock at how good it was.
2. I didn't like Simon's AT first time round but adored it tonight. Well done to him - absolutely brilliant!
3. Mark & Karen going out first was the right result but I still wish I'd have got to see the Samba again because I really loved it when they first did it.
4. What on earth were the judges' choices about? If it'd been up to me, I'd have wanted Caroline's AS, Simon's Jive/VW, Frankie's Foxtrot and Mark's Quickstep.
5. Wanted Pasholine to win since the launch show and I'm so happy that they've done it. Been a joy to watch them throughout the whole series.

Sneaky 6 - Loved this series. Everyone brought something different and it's been a joy to watch. Can't wait for next year!

1 Voted for Caroline and Pasha at the first round - easily the best.

2 All the last three couples absolutely brilliant - didn't vote (tho adore pasholine) as Simon's AT mind blowing so compltly at a loss

2. Why was half of the first show devoted to dances nobody remembered or cared about?

3. I realised how few memorable dances this series has actually delivered.

4. What is the point of a showdance when the show has morphed into 100% showdance right from week one?

5. For a better final (for ME), they should have to do one ballroom, one Latin, and one non-standard dance - two they've already danced and one they've skipped thus far.

1. Caroline and Pasha pulled it out of the bag..worthy winners..showdance was mesmerising, sublime, beautiful...
2. Simons AT was superb. and they were pleased with judges pick.
3.Mark and Karen were so gracious when they went out, he has been a joy!
4. Frankie was unlucky to get the Samba as judges pick as she is not a Latin girl, week one dance as well, toughcall. She should have left the showdance input to Kevin.
5. Cha cha was also a difficult first week dance for Caroline, no other celeb has got the technique right..but she nailed it in the final.

1) When you've seen two thirds of the routines before what's the point?

2) Show dances devalued by having seen the lifts and tricks for weeks before.

3) Caroline's show dance at least showed something original/different.

4) After that we switched over to see University Challenge and Sherlock so...

1. The 'judges choices' were bizarre. Two Cha Cha's & a Samba WTF
2. A final with absolutely NO ballroom dances (unless you count Frankie's showdance)
3. Mark's showdance looked like 2 toddlers chasing each other & real toddlers would have been more entertaining. I would have loved to see what Janette would have pulled out for Jake.
4. Caroline was a deserving winner, she won me over during the last few weeks.
5. I wish Simon well, I think he's been on more of a journey than any of us realise

1. Caroline and Pasha's show dance just blew me away, absolutely beautiful and I think that nailed her win.
2. Gutted for Kristina - the judges have all praised her teaching skills and choreography and I must be honest I have loved their VT snippets - she comes across as a very thorough and particular teacher.....would have loved her to lift the trophy as acknowledgment of that, never mind how far Simon has come
3. I love CRH, and his comments I thought were very lovely to each contestant
4. Time for the judges to not vote in the final at all......but to enjoy it - when did we last see any of them stand to applaud a performance.........if it is entirely in the hands of the GBP then leave alone what I thought came across last night a couple of times
as influential comments?
5. An excellent series - I have thoroughly enjoyed every single moment, I have been gobsmacked with the beauty of it all, the amazing camera and production work, the emotion, I have laughed, smiled at the telly so much my face ached and cried too......I cannot fault any of it OTHER than the ridiculous and ridiculing entrance of the judges......FFS BBC cut it out!!!!
