1. Frankie: BIB They spoiled the Hollywood feel of the dance and were totally out of place..lovely dress

2. Mark: Craig was spot on a class in aerobics

3. Caroline: Elegant, Pasha's best showdance, emotional and teary. Dance of the night so far

4. Simon: Messy and forgettable.

Not particularly impressed with any of them to be honest.
Kristina was doing too much of the work in her showdance with Simon and I felt it was rather uncontrolled.
Caroline did not execute enough elements of what she has learnt through the series. I appreciate it is a showdance but it was not my cup of tea at all.
Mark and Karen's was an utter mess.
Frankie and Kevin produced the best of the four imo although the benches was a ridiculous idea. Frankie showed herself to be an accomplished all round dancer in it though so fair play to her.

Simon's impressed me most. Every movement was perfect in spite of his nerves (understandable). I expected more out of Caroline but it was Pasha's choreography, I suppose. A bit too much wafting for my liking. What was good about it was the ambition. Mark went all out and did himself proud. It was better than his cha cha anyway. He did well to keep it tight to highlight hip movements and to keep it on time but he could have reached out further. Unfortunately Frankie's involved a bit too much table dancing for me. And the nodding dog next to her was a bit offputting.

Carolines for me while good didnt belong in SCD not really any ballroom or latin and IMO it was a showcase that you would put on having completed your dance training and to me just proved the extent of her previous teaining and played to much to that.

Frankies I liked benches meh but otherwise nice to see a showdance actually done without the usual overabundance of lifts and tricks and no proper dancing.

Simons I liked little bit messy but ok.

Marks just no really didn't like it and still not figuring out what the point of going upstairs was all about other than pointless time filler.

i thought it was a bit stilted, it slowed the flow of the dance and they began to look a bit 'careful' rather than carefree.

i loved the rest though, and i thought frankie looked a million dollars, and was by far the best.

caroline's dance was also great, but so different, can't really compare them

Simon's was a little bit distracting as I hated the music and the lighting was a bit too bright at times so couldn't see properly. The dancing itself (what I could see) was fantastic, he is definitely the most improved dancer.

Still no 'Wows' for me

Caroline and Pasha - a bit too arty farty for me. All those pained expressions put me off.
Frankie and Kevin - I loved it all except the benches.
Mark and Karen's was too frantic.
Simon and Kristina - I thought the singing was appalling but I loved the dancing.

Caroline's was beautiful the others were forgettable, especially the mens show dances.

Liked Simon's the most then Mark's. Frankie's was ok but Caroline's was awful

I can understand that people don't think Caroline and Pashas' showdance has no place here as it is neither ballrroom or latin - some of us were moved to tears as contempory dance can - but - remember Louis and Flavias' showdance?? That was being lauded as an amazing dance then too

Loved Caroline's

Thought Frankie's was missing something, but was a nice routine

Simon's had a lot of content, but maybe a bit frantic

Mark's was the weakest

None was as bad as bacofoilgate

The music choices were horrendous. Really, Kevin and Frankie's song was used by Pasha and Kimberley and I Iiked Pasha's choreography for that song much better. Didn't get the need for Kevin and Frankie to be dancing on the benches so much. Used more as a distraction.

Pasha and Caroline probably had the better song of choices.
Couldn't show have at least used new songs for the finale?

I had the same issue with that as well and I do like Flavia and her choreography but while yes it is a showdance and it should have the wow factor or whatever its meant to be I prefer to see more of what they have learned through the series like a proper ballroom based one or latin based.

I don't mind contemporary dance and know its a genre that does feature in DWTS but given its not something that is part of SCD in the main routines that are learned/performed I just feel the showdances should stick within what is learned through the course of the series which would also help IMO with the previous experience thing as then it couldn't be said previous skills were a boost like Louis using gymnastics in his showdance or the contemporary element playing more to what Caroline would have learned at dance school.

For those who are saying the Caroline's dance was not ballroom or latin - have you ever watched the showdances in Dancing with the stars?

Loads of them are like that, in a contemporary style https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-FRsgfqfCs

That was Janel's

Caroline's beautiful
Frankie not showy or different enough
Simon lots of elements but missed the spot
Mark tons of energy

Shame Jake didn't make the final as his would have been amazing.

Yes - just because it's done on DWTS doesn't mean we have to approve (in fact, it usually means disapprove in my book). I did think Caroline's dance was beautiful though.

Caroline and Frankie's were brilliant and the best show dances ever for me.

Simons was good but forgettable.

Marks was ATTROCIOUS and I can't believe he got to the final over Pixie but life goes on.

Mark and Karen's seemed to be mostly a repeat of his jive (with a few lifts and running up and down the stairs thrown in). Would like to have seen some more original choreography.

Caroline's was the best, but I'm not sure how I feel about a showdance in a ballroom & latin competition with no ballroom or latin in it.

Kristina threw the kitchen sink into that routine with Simon, but to me it looked a bit messy in places.”

BIB. It was Frankie's idea. She said so in the Claudatorium after their dance. She said she liked the bit in The Sound of Music with the "16 going on 17“ number with benches and asked Kevin if they could do something similar.

Personally I thought the benches bit detracted from the number and they could have done more.

As for the other dances, didn't like Mark and Karen's. Agreed with Craig over the exercise video.
Kristina choreographed a better routine for Jason Donovan then Simon. Simon danced it well though.
Although she danced it well, I really don't like contemporary dance so not wowed by Caroline's.

I think they were a bit scared of falling off the benches so couldn't do anything wow on them.

Loved Caroline and Pasha's show dance - even made me feel a bit teary!

I do like contemporary dance but can accept some people feel it wasn't 'strictly ballroom'.

I guess both Louis and Matt Baker did very gymnastic type show dances that were not strictly ballroom. Show dances can be any style can't they?

Don't watch the show that much but was very much annoyed about the over hyping /promotion of Caroline Flack tonight. Is this due to the fact that she will be presenting 'Saints & Scroungers' for the BBC from January 5th.Miss Flack has been strictly a presenter on the 'commercial' channels up to now (Xtra Factor etc.).Is this a way of raising her profile before starting her BBC career .I hope this isn't true.Don't
like the BBC being seen to exploit the licence fee payers

Enjoyed them all, but wasn't blown away by any of them.

Mark's was very disappointing. Acrobatic, more than dancing. Didn't like what he was wearing, or the bit on the stairs. He should have been given better choreography.
Caroline's was very moving and different. Beautiful lines. Emotional.
Frankie's was nice, but not exciting enough for a showdance. Benches added nothing to it. I just kept thinking, don't fall off and could feel her thinking the same thing.
Simon's was thrilling. Showed everything he learned. Loved the costume changes too.
