She damaged her leg in a skiing incident but I don't think it has been mentioned either. Not sure if it has or not though.
On twitter her other half is saying she was dancing with Take That - which would imply that the Take That segment was pre recorded a while ago....

Gary Barlow.
It was a shame she wasn't there. They could have had her sitting in a chair in the Clauditorium or something, but maybe she didn't feel up to it and it was her decision not to.

I don't think it was ever mentioned on the main show but Zoe mentioned it on ITT.

I actually think it was very mean spirited of them not to mention her or wish her well. At least Zoe did so on ITT during the week.
It's obvious that Trent's missus, Gordana (what an ugly name) is being lined up as her replacement. This makes me unhappy for 2 reasons:

I don't think it was mean-spirited. Ola actually appeared in the final (in the pre-recorded Take That segment), so it would have been odd to make a comment on her accident, only to have her to pop up later in the show, dancing. A comment was made on ITT, so the accident was mentioned.

Horses for courses I guess. Gordana is a traditional Serbo-Croatian name. I prefer traditional names to 'made up' ones like Kylie, but I'm old-fashioned.

She's broken her leg, why would she want to be there? Surely she'd rather be at home with her leg up or something. She was leaving the show anyway as she had a row with the BBC, doubt they missed her

I like Gordana, at least as far as I know her - I don't think I've ever heard her speak.
But something that keeps bugging me, who is the woman dancing with Trent in this part of the opening number:

It was probably originally meant to be Ola but she was replaced with Anya, idk.
Anya spoke quite a lot on the last series, lol.
