Two years in a row with the same ~journey on the show - early DO, late improvement and then the glitterball. Might be a plan to get yourself in the DO in the first few weeks if you want to win it.

All through the series I have wanted Caroline to win, and then just at the last moment tonight my hear went out to Simon, and I wanted it to be him! But so happy for Caroline, she is so joyful when she dances, and so beautiful to watch. Very happy for her.

I'm so happy they won. Loved the ending of tonights show where everyone was dancing and just enjoying themselves.

What a lovely evening. I have so enjoyed all the dances. Caroline and Pasha was not the couple I voted for but deserved congrats. All the couples have cheered my life up no end and just recently I needed that. Thank you to all x

I felt exactly the same. I have voted for Caroline every week on line and for the last two weeks and tonight on the phone. I really wanted her to win and was absolutely ecstatic when she and Pasha did so. However, I really loved Simon (I adored Frankie, too!) so I was s little torn. I really would also have liked Kristina and Simon to get there.

And I think Frankie should have had a 40!!!!!!

Always thought that Caroline was up in the air because she couldn't dance.

Deserved winner, delighted for Pasha, think their showdance was so different I am sure it worked in their favour (like Louis and Flavia). For me Kevins showdance he just did what he did last year with Susanna, it wasn't enough of a spectacle. Marks was too frantic and Simons was messy. If I was a professional in the final next year I would be looking at what had gone before.

So you're not going to have any actors or singers as they will have all had some dance or performing training?

Seriously all you will end up with is reality acts and the mums of sportsmen.

Loved Caroline dancig from week 1, but she really has excelled over the last 4 weeks. Brilliant final and so annoyed at Craig for not giving Frankie's superb Paso a 10

Think I scared my cat with my yell of 'yes!!!' when their names were announced. Really pleased for her, but would have been happy with Simon and Kristina if it hadn't been Caroline and Pasha.
