I agree with you. Always seems to be the same names having a go at Pixie. Hardly sour grapes from me. I'm comfortable with my opinion she was the real winner of Strictly. She can add great dancer to her impressive cv of singer and actress.

Seriously Why is it sour grapes for posters to post of their disapointment when a celeb leaves? I still am not over some of the ones that left early eons ago and despite what you say she did deserve to be in the final, but these things happen whether or not you are the best dancer and the best dancers have left early many times and will do so again but posters have every right to voice their disapointment without being called out for sour grapes and small mindedness.

The voting patterns are not known as far as Im aware so there is a lot of conjecture here. I would say though that the Waltzathon thing may have been the reason she went out. Winning that gave the impression that she would be ok so I don't think the popularity issue is relevant here-I think the public do tend to know when a particular contestant should get through and the waltzathon clouded that point imo.

the above and 1000's more are things people say when they more often than not think the opposite i.e. they give themselves away by qualifying whatever is about to follow. now cast your mind back to this:

'i know when i'm driving home tonight that i've made the right decision ...'

pixie should have been in the final at the very least and YES if more folk had voted for her she would have been, but a certain judges decision was ridiculous.

Pixie would have been my winner. So missed her in the final. Caroline was the best out of this lot.

Caroline won that with the show dance. The amount of emotional involvement was phenomenal. Pixie maybe could have won, but I suspect Trent would have had a hard time coming up with something better than Pashas choreography tonight.

Watched Caroline's dance a few more times on YouTube and it really takes your breath away.

Just want to add that Pixie was my no. 1 and I felt so sad not seeing her on that dancefloor competing tonight... BUT Caroline's dances cheered me up no end. She was outstanding and a totally worthy winner imo! So versatile and so engaging, everything a winner should be!

YES YES YES!!! I put a post up about pixie's constant smile and glassy eyes and how I found them annoying and I was soon to regret it. was called a few names and my personality was questioned. Stepford wife was something I was going to say about her but I decided to leave it because of the hassle. So glad I'm not the only one.

It was an absolute joke Pixie didn't make the final tbh I think she would have really gave Caroline a run for her money as she was better technical dancer than her .

Maybe Puxie was a more technical dancer than Caroline but for me she just didn't engage. I got tired of the constant balletic moves which may have been hiding bad technique or maybe not it was difficult (for me ) to tell. However with Caroline I felt the emotion and passion she felt for each dance which made it more personal for me which allowed me to engage with her more than Pixie. This is from someone that really really couldn't stand Caroline Flack before Strictly based on nothing more than how she came across on The Extra Factor.

No way of knowing. Its not only that they are close and the public may invent reasons for one or the other. It also depends who is allowed to do what, what other people are doing, and what choregraphy Pixie could have been given in the later shows, and for her showdance . Caroline won without doing her AT, which would have precluded Simon doing it ,or denied him a 40 if she had - we don't know what the dances would have been with Pixie in the mix. Or if the judges would have tried to split them.

I actually agree that Pixie may have been the better dancer. Technically. I also agree that she was more precise. But I found Caroline a lot more watchable. In fact, everything else you say you saw about Caroline, I saw about Pixie (other than her heavy presence on stage - I didn't see that). I saw Pixie dance and I appreciated some well done steps. But I rarely saw a whole, a complete performance. I thought Caroline WAS the dance far more than Pixie ever was. And I never saw Caroline as an underdog.

I was a Pixie supporter and the way that she was eliminated in the quarter final left a bad taste in my mouth. On the other hand, she came second on the Leaderboard that night, yet was still in the dance off, which suggests that she did not have strong public support. Why that should be, I have no idea because she is a lovely dancer and a charming girl. Nevertheless, those are the facts.

Of the final four, I thought Caroline was clearly the best. I am not knowledgeable about Dance (although my wife is, and she favoured Frankie), but I do know a good performance when I see one and Caroline certainly performed. Therefore, given that she was in no way responsible for Pixie's exit, Caroline is a worthy winner, and congratulations to her and Pasha.

I so agree with this. It was Pixie's elimination that revealed the manipulation of the judges to me and the rest of the series was spoiled for me by Pixie not being there..

I didn't have a favourite, but I never voted for Pixie because the only thing I noticed about her and which really grated was that, when she was doing anything other ballroom, her leg shapes were so ugly and contorted. No elegance to them at all.

Independently Craig commented on her leg work for one dance and persona non grata James Jordan tweeted about her ugly leg shapes. They're both dancers. Surely they can't both be wrong to have noticed the same thing.

She wasn't as perfect as some like to believe.
