I agree with you - and I hope she will be back next year. She must be one of the favourites with the public I'm sure.

As for Kristina not returning next year; I doubt she will give up the lucrative salary so easily. She'll be back.”

You loathe her? What has she done to you - kicked your cat?

There are professional dancers on the show who haven't exactly warmed the cockles of my heart (*cough* Anton *cough*), but the vitriol spewed out on the internet about Kristina goes way beyond acceptable criticism. No wonder she was reportedly suicidal when the Twittersphere erupted with accusations of her being a home-wrecker when Ben Cohen's marriage broke up.

Enough already.

I've posted about this many times in respect of different celebs. Some of the comments go way beyond reason and, regretably, it's the females who get the bulk of the really nasty comments. You can dislike someone for various reasons, but to go to the extent of loathing or hating someone you don't even know is disturbing. It is unfortunate, but the internet attracts some sad individuals who like to vent their anger and frustration on total strangers. They obviously need professional help.

I was always going to feel bad for one or the other of them

I'm just pleased they got through to the final without the dance off and then through to part 2 of the final to be the last man standing.

I really hope she stays but if not - then that AT Isn't a bad dance to have as your last one, is it?

Poor Kristina how I feel for her you just have to read this forum to see how nasty people can be they rip into someone who they have never met make comment's on their personal life that they know nothing about criticize their look's I would like to meet these people who are so perfect that it give's them the right to come on here and judge people. I have met Kristina she is a lovely woman that work's hard and give's a lot of time to her charity what ever she does in her life has nothing to do with anyone else. I hope that she comes back next year but thank's to a lot of vile people she may not

She's my favourite professional female. Enthusiastic and passionate. I hope she's back next year and that she finally lifts the Glitter Ball. Amazing lady in my book.

She is my least favourite female Pro, however she is an excellent teacher and choreographer.

Fully agree with this. Wouldn't it be interesting to meet these people who have such strong opinions on strangers. Personally, I think they should be named and shamed. Who, for instance, was the poster who referred to Frankie as having 'dead eyes'. Definitely not Mary Poppins, I'd wager.

I wasn't a fan tbh but this year I think she has mellowed and become much softer.
Very nice with Simon x

There is that I guess, but let's cross our fingers she's back. I felt bad for both the losing couples and normally I'm just pleased for the winners, so that made last night a bit different. Best final for years (for me).

kristina is great, a really mesmerising dancer, a superb choreographer and a great teacher. she's got on well with all her partners, she works hard, and is selfless in making others look good. she seems like a really nice personality and she's been a great member of the strictly team for a long time.

i know there are miserable, bitter, angry people on this forum who seem to hate her, but as ever, a strong negative reaction to someone you don't know is usually telling you something about yourself, not them.

Everyone involved seems to genuinely like her - the way everyone was at pains to make sure she knew they recognised the work she had done this series and make sure she took credit for it was really touching.

Kristina is a good dancer and teacher without doubt - wasn't fussed on her as a person before she joined the show and still not but would not let that colour my views on her dancing which is great and the show would be poorer without her

I agree about Simon!, I really couldn't take to him so therefore I never voted for them!... I do feel sorry for Kristina as I have always had a soft spot for her since she came on the show and was partnered with John Sargeant she was always so nice to him and seemed to enjoy it although she would have known she didn't have a chance in hell of winning!.......

I can't agree that she would leave just because she hasn't won the trophy!............. there is only one winner each year and if everyone left because they hadn't come first there would be no dancers left!....

Yes indeed. Her passion for dance and teaching is massively contagious and she wears that passion honestly and openly. What a massive bore it would be to have pros who take it all calmly and cooly and professionally. Having pros like Kristina and Karen and Janette and Kevin who CARE and put their heart and soul into the program and their teaching is awe inspiring imho.

I don't think she will be pissed off at all about the result. She is a thorough pro. She knows that it's about the fickle finger of the public vote and she also knows that Caroline was technically the best dancer, irrespective of her enormous advantage from the get-go.

She got to the final three with a man who was a complete and utter novice, where both of the women were experienced dancers. She got to the final three with a man who lacked confidence, and was struggling with his own demons. She turned that novice into a wonderful stylish dancer and almost made it to the glitterball !

She should be deeply deeply proud.

Well said. Some of the nastier comments about her are pretty embarrassing and pathetic. When you see stuff said about her looks or her personal life (newsflash just in, confident sexy women are allowed to have a sex life as a consenting adult in 2014 )it's fairly shameful, and smacks of bitterness, and totally agree it says far more about the person saying it than it ever would about Kristina..

Kristina is very experienced and talented as a dance teacher. The scandal with Ben was good for her in that she absolutely had to prove that she could go through this year without a love affair.

She has done that and it has helped her to put all her considerable talent into the routines.

The experience of the Ben Cohen scandal will give her a new perspective, whatever the truth of the situation is.

Ultimately, if she does come back, I do not feel the BBC will ever allow her to dance with a married man again and that speaks volumes.

I agree.

I think that Kristina is treated unfairly, by some people. Out of the Strictly men, she dated just, Vincent and Joe. Her other partners, she hasn't dated them. Hardly a man eater.
