Given the delay between newspapers announcing Katie and the BBC putting out the press release, and Chris Evans saying no new names were meant to be announced until Monday, I think they might not have intended to name Katie today but somebody jumped the gun on an embargo.

I saw her asked in an interview once on Sunday Brunch, after she had done the Christmas special, if she would like to do a full series. She said she wouldn't as she hadn't enjoyed the 'touchy-feeliness' of it all.
