I do feel at the moment that the line up is lacking some serious personality, maybe this will change when we see them on the show. Must admit I'm actually looking forward to Ainsley , Jeremy, Georgia and Carol but personally would have got rid of Daniel and Katie. I feel like we have got the "poor man's version" of celebrities this year for example
Katie Derham - poor man's - Fiona Bruce
Also whilst I like Kellie Bright, Shane Richie would have been a bigger name and more personality.
Really we need the next few celebrities to be young and fun and have some personality so I never thought I'd say this but I am hoping for Sharon Osbourne and Gok Wan otherwise this year's line up is going to be more vanilla than a vanilla ice cream served with a vanilla milkshake with a bowl of vanilla ice cream.”

BIB - two points …
First of all, let's be real about who'll want to do Strictly. A few years back, some FMs were suggesting David Tennant should do it: anyone of his profile doesn't need to. And anyone on any of the continuing dramas has to be approved by the producers, otherwise we'll end up with actors being put under impossible pressure (e.g. Scott Maslen). So there's always going to be a more limited pool than some might imagine.
But secondly - and this is a much bigger issue - the BBC is being slowly starved of funds. The right-wing tabloids love to paint a picture of overpaid fat cats hoovering up public money, but the truth could not be more different. Every year, all BBC shows now have a ten percent budget cut imposed on them - and the impact of this is slowly seeping through on-screen (e.g. Doctor Who's run being cut from 13 episodes to 12). SCD may be a hugely popular and important brand to the BBC, but it's not immune from this. The production team may do a great job of making it look glam and glitzy, but its budget is minimal compared to TXF or BGT. So there will almost certainly be celebrities the show simply can't afford - which will help dictate the names currently being revealed. Whether we like it or not …
