I would love Rylan to do Strictly he seems to be good st whatever he tries and really put's the effort in. CBB doesn't start till end August I'm not sure if this would clash with the Strictly date.

I know she'd be the ringer to end all ringers, but can we please, please, PLEASE have Kimberley Wyatt? She came across incredibly well on Celebrity Masterchef, and would have a bit more face/name recognition now she's been on our screens every week for a few months.

Anthony Joshua has a very active career at the moment, think he's due to fight again September/October time, Strictly won't fit in at all at the moment.

Although Jermaine Jenas ruled himself out a few months ago, indicating he had been asked, as far as I know no club has come in for him so far, he's out of contract, so if his injury is mending well I still wouldn't count him out just yet.

Alsp (and this maybe a very random connection) but his most recent follow was Strictly alumni Jodie Kidd...

I dunno if it being from the BBC gives it any extra weight, but they name Richard and Judy, Peter Andre and Shane Richie as rumoured names.

Judy can barely walk, let alone dance. She was on Loose Women the other week and instead of walking to her chair with the rest of the ladies, she was already seated.

Since the Redknapps have made sure the rumours are stopped so soon after they started I think it rules them out, I couldn't really see either of them doing it anyway and I don't think Judy could do it either, Richard maybe

Last year, the first celebrity was confirmed on 13th August, so we're not far off. Plus, wouldn't we expect this year's series to start a week earlier, with an extra couple?

What about Charlie Brooks aka Janine Butcher from Eastenders? she won the 2011 Christmas Special and commented that she'd love to do a full series but her work schedule made it impossible to take part. Well she's no longer in Eastenders, so maybe she will enter this year's competition? I'd love to see her on SCD!

Also, Duncan James (even though he was on Dancing On Ice) and Natalie Anderson from Emmerdale. They seem like interesting candidates for the show.

Natalie is a good shout but Duncan is about to appear in a theatre production of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert. I don't reckon he'll manage to juggle both that and Strictly so will rule him out on that basis.

Plus, two members of defunct boyband Blue in successive years? Very much doubt it...

For me, Chris Kamara would be a brilliant contestant - always up for a laugh and certainly not afraid to take the mickey out himself. He could even surprise and turn out to be a bit of a mover...
