To understand why Craig never gave Frankie a 10 one needs to understand the judges' expectations of Frankie and Pixie - both of whom were delivering high-quality routines in the first two weeks.

A really great example is the difference between Kimberley's Week 2 Ballroom (Foxtrot?) and the Viennese Waltz she delivered in the Final.

Pasha was lugging her around the floor in Week 2 like a sack of spuds. In the Final her technique was superb - not just footwork but using her upper body and arms in a way Frankie never mastered.

Similar thing with Pixie - coming out in the Quarter Final and failing to deliver the tight, precise footwork demanded of a Cha Cha Cha.

Given where both girls started from the judges would have been expecting them to develop into outstanding dancers - and surely deducted points for what was missing in their technique. Compared to Caroline in that Final Frankie was still wearing L plates. The only other celeb who actually looked like a dancer at any point was Simon in his AT.

We can only speculate as to the reasons why neither Frankie nor Pixie improved significantly from where they were at Week 1. I personally would be inclined to blame their professional partners.

Perhaps, as a trained dancer and experienced media operator, Caroline played down her dancing standard in the early stages so she could appear to progress more towards the later stages?

Perhaps evening classes in musical theatre when you're 16 combined with learning six routines with a guy in a wheelchair weren't enough "training" for the SCD Ballroom and Latin routines.

For sure the incredible technique in lifts she started delivering late in the competition was entirely down to Pasha's ability as a trainer and her belief that she could do anything Pasha told her she could do.

No shes as dull as dishwater. And those tears when Craig criticised her samba first time round. Right little madam with as much personality as her dead behind the eyes husband.

For real?? Simons AT was the best dance of the series.

SPOT ON!

I'm happy Caroline won though because she was the best on the night, despite all the 40s she easily received.”

She deserved those 40's in my opinion.

This^, the transitions and smoothness of their lifts were outstanding, unlike Simon's in their showdance and we all know Frankie was too weak to do lifts.

I'm inclined to say you are talking rubbish. Or you are just another caroline clone. HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THE FACT that even most caroline fans WERE SAYING THAT PIXIE WAS THE BEST DANCER BEFORE THE QF? Or her paso at Blackpool? Or frankie's tango in week, er..six (mysteriously missing from the final)? NOT TO MENTION HER AT IN THE SF...WHERE OVER THE 2 DANCES SHE WAS BEST?
As for caroline's arty farty showdance....not a patch on natalie's last year. Not in the same class, despite her 2 years of dance training and her 'trying out ' for cats!!

Agree, although Pixie doing a ballroom number always sold the routine (at least to me) in a way Frankie never quite mastered.

I guess putting letters in bold make them , more of a FACT ! ... hmmm ...

BIB.... seem to be contradicting all the other FACTs ...

Whatever the FACTs are ... true or false .... ... Caroline has won Strictly 2014 ....Some people will just have to deal with it ... in their own unhappy ways ... FACT ...
