It was a fantastic final. Everyone upped their game and any one of them could have walked away with the Glitterball IMO. I was out last night (at a pre-arranged meal) so I actually didn't see it live, but I'm glad as I wouldn't have been able to choose who to vote for. Frankie and Caroline's showdances in particular blew me away. A lovely end to the show.

I voted for Caroline on the first vote, but didn't vote at all for the final three, as I really didn't mind which of them won. In some ways, it's a lot more enjoyable not having a hot favourite.

OH My god Yes The group dance was one fo the highlights of the final, I loved watching last nights show

The icing on the cake for me was all the participants dancing around at the end behind Tess and Claudia, celebrating in their own way instead of the previous presenter trying to hog the limelight by insisting the presentation and celebrations were how he wanted them.

The show belongs to the pros and celebs after all. Without them the rest is redundant.

Including swatting away Mc Flys off the floor !!

the second half had way too much VT bloat, and take that (or what remains of them) were dreadful..

but generally a high standard and a good show, a good end to a pretty high performing series, despite me knowing almost none of them at the start, and agree with others that it was probably one of the best group dances for the entire cast thats ever been performed.

Best final in years and a real treat at the end of the worst series of the show. One of the nicest bunch of celebs too, plus Tess, Claude and Zoe were superb.

That's still one of my favourite ever moments in a SCD final.

Seriously though, it was a great final and most importantly it was fun. We ended up wanting Simon to win at our final but, we all agreed any one of them would have been a worthy winner.
