Yes, it will be an emotional end but I just know that all four acts are going to knock it out of the park this evening. I think it's going to be a show to remember and that it's anyone's game at the moment.

Stephanie my girl! How happy are we to see you in the final? Lemme tell you, extremely! We have a long and open road to uncover, but what a fantastic way to start with this amazing song that we knew would match so well for you. You really came out to shine and give the Final one big opener to the show. There will be much more to come and I wanna see this all the way through!

That was a great way to kick off the final, Steph. A powerful song choice suiting you both vocally and stylistically to a degree. I don't like to give too many negatives in the final, but I have noticed that your mentor has lately been picking songs very similar in direction and style to what I've been doing with Rumour Has It since show six. As you can imagine, this makes me a bit more difficult to impress, as in my opinion artists like Ginny Blackmore fit my girl group a bit better than they fit you. Personal opinion aside, you've set the bar incredibly high for the other finalists. I can't wait to see what else your mentor has up his sleeve!

Girls, without a doubt, you deserve to be here in the Final and I've always stood by you five ladies. First off, great choice of an artist as her style and vocals share a similarity with yours and that clarified strongly when you harmonized during the chorus sections. In all in, a very strong first performance from you and I think you're gonna get even stronger as the night goes on, absolutely love you girls.

Rumour Has It

Yes girls, now that's more like it! I absolutely adored this performance from you. It was indie, upbeat and had all the qualities and quirks you've put into all of your performances lately. Out of my two groups, you're probably in more of an underdog position. However, I hope this performance and the ones you've yet to do will motivate the DS public to vote for you as you absolutely deserve it!

Here Sorry, was expecting the show to kick off at 6:30 Tonight will be bittersweet… I'm gutted to see the series come an end, but I'm certain we've pulled it out the bag tonight. The X Factor 20 is unquestionably exiting with a bang. Right, I'll post up my comments ASAP.

Fleur, what an outstanding way to make a first impact for the Final. The beginning of the performance was like a concert with all the staging fully rehearsed. This is where you are right at home! The song was a superb choice and you brought it with your added diva element to it. I loved this performance throughout and I expect more of this to come later, amazing job, Fleur!

Fleur East

Fleur! You absolutely smashed it last week, which is why you're still here and have a good shot at winning this competition. Now I'm going to be 100% honest with you and confess that this wasn't exactly my favourite performance from you. Nevertheless, it was a great opener for you. There's no absolutely denying this suited you vocally, but it didn't really have that kind of energy I love you for. Having said that, if your mentor is going for a slow-burner strategy tonight, this would literally be the perfect way to start - allowing you to show improvement through your subsequent performances. Let's see if I'm right about this, good luck with your next performance.

Only The Young

Wow, just wow! Boys and girls, that was an amazing first performance from the four of you. Stylistically, it was different from anything you've done in this competition so far. It's mind-blowing really, we're 10 shows in and you're STILL showing everyone how many different things you are capable of. Aside of showing your versatility once more, this was also the first performance I felt really had that 'epic' factor to it I personally really like to see in Grand Final performance. Ladies and gentlemen, please pick up your proverbial phones for OTY tonight!

Guys and girls, if there was ever an act that thoroughly deserved to be here, it's you four. I mean that song was just brilliant and a cool choice on your mentor's part, the harmonies were on point once more and you all did what you do best which is needed for the Final. I really enjoyed this performance and I hope to see something as terrific as this from you again later.

Steph, what a way to start our big finale. That was a fantastic performance, and was definitely one of your best. I’m genuinely thrilled that you’re here in the final, as I think you and Steve both really deserve it. You went through a stage of being kinda boring, but as exemplified by that performance, Steve has managed to really flip that on its head. I think the indie direction for you is perfect, and your soft vocals really provide that much needed element of individuality. Very impressed. Well done

Rumour Has It
Girls, well done for getting to the final. Now, I make no secret of the fact that I’ve never been a total fan of the indie direction Rick has taken with you. But… When you bring performances like that, it really doesn’t matter You totally brought it, and I just loved it. This, for me, was your #1 performance of the entire series. Well done!

Fleur East
Now that is how we liven things up a bit I loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. As Steve highlighted, this is you at your very best, Fleur. Everything about that performance was incredible. Vocally sublime, yet at the same time impressively fun, edgy and energetic. You’ve been an absolute joy to mentor, and I just pray that you make it into the final two tonight.

Only The Young
Guys, I am running out of critique for you. Put simply, that was another brilliant performance from you all. I have nothing more to say really. You’re fantastic. and you totally deserve to be here. Good luck in the vote, and well done.

I have no idea who was the best in the first round, it was pretty much even!

Everyone put their best foot forward, but like I understated in my comment for OTY I really like Grand Final performances to have this 'epic' feeling to them. The only act that has put in a performance like that so far in my opinion is OTY. Don't worry though, I can confirm that EVERY act still has one, two or even three of these performances to give.

I completely agree with Steve. We're all on an even ground at the moment. I don't know who's going to win. I think it could be anyone, which I love; it creates a bit more suspense. I think if we're being entirely honest, we've all been in finales where, even if it goes against who you're mentoring, you know for sure who the final two will be. Tonight, I genuinely can't call it.

Steve, first of all hats off to you for picking this particular song again. This was an amazing performance the first time you performed it, I even remember standing up for it all the way back in show 2! By singing it again, you have shown us exactly how much you've grown in these 10 weeks - which is A LOT. However, I'd also like to point out one minor thing. This song choice perfectly underlines how you've deviated from your own unique style (this) and gravitated towards the same direction as Rumour Has It over time, the same thing I mentioned in my earlier comment. Apart from that, this was an amazing performance.
