What are you wearing Xmas Day ?
Do you get dressed up in your finery or are you a jeans / jumper / comfort kind of house ?
I always struggle to decide what to put on. I have two hairy hounds and whatever I wear gets covered in fur as I sit on the floor with them at my parents house. But my Dad once said that my Mum goes to a lot of trouble for Christmas and that we should dress up for dinner which makes me feel bad if im in a jumper. Its a difficult balancing act. Also, my parents house is soooooo hot. I live in an old property with open fires and a dog flap so we always have a little fresh air circulating. But they turn on the heating all day and seal the place up ... and I cant breathe !!! I think this year I will wear my leggings and a dress which is fairly roomy for stomach growth. Although the dress has sleeves its not too warm and its also old so I don't mind it being ruined by the dogs. |

A Principles dress with leggings. I'll also wear the boots my parents got me for Xmas when I travel there. I've also got a grey dress with sequins dotted around on it which is quite nice for Xmas Eve. I'm not going all out finery like you wear at a wedding but I have saved my best casual clothes to wear at Xmas.

Probably the new red dress I bought. I want to find either a slightly baggy vest or a dress that floats out a bit under the chest cus I get that bloated, full up feeling after christmas dinner lol. Need a bit of space to breathe so maybe not a fitted dress.
Lots of relatives come to the house dressed up,so I need to wear something not-so casual. |

Whatever is clean, I don't dress differently on Christmas to any other day.

Normally my christmas jumper with leggings or jeans. Its not really a formal thing in my house and everyone just dresses for maximum comfort to fit all that food in.
This year we're going out for a meal though so im having to dress up a little. I have a grey sequin jumper dress that I'm going to wear with leggings boots i think. |

I'll be wearing my finest maternity wear
(leggings, boots and stretchy top - am 8 months pregnant, that is considered an effort!!) Normally though I will wear a dress, heels and a little make-up! |

I've got a sparkly top which I'll wear with leggings and boots. It's Christmas, it's nice to make an effort - but comfort is essential!!

Me too. If I were going to someone else's place then yes I'd probably dress a little smarter but seeing as I'm at home, nah can't be arsed.

Long floral summer dress, most probably. Silver hoop earrings and a bit of makeup.

Black knitted jumper with sparkles on it, and black & white Christmassy leggings. I get cold really easily and I'm also in a really low place in my head, so I want to just feel all warm and cosy.

No point in me getting all dressed up in a nice warm winter dress and heels - I'm a bloke.
Think I'll stick with blue jeans, a t shirt and winter jumper. OH! And underwear and socks, black shoes.
