Do you think the driver drives back to the yard with the other men running behind?”

*Sigh* read the below for clarity.

BIB is absolutely spot on! Particularly the speculating.

Your answer was to ignore it. Well, no. I'm not going to ignore something so nasty and offensive. I'm going to make sure it gets removed and if that means giving the perpetrator some temporary attention then so be it.”

You do what you want. I will continue to ignore crap like that and delete any links to places like that on my FB groups.
All you do is get more people going to their page just what they want. But hey you know best

I'm sure the investigators have better things to do than keep you personally appraised of their findings as they go about their work.

Yes another poster has informed me thanks.

Why are some people so angry about others wanting to know what happened?

Thank you. I will.

And, unless you become a mod, perhaps in future you can refrain from telling me - or others - what they should or should not be posting on here.

I wasn't guessing or giving a opinion I was stating a fact. So your post "below for clarity" doesn't make sense
Unless you really do think the bin men run alongside the truck when it goes back to the yard.

Considering that people have died, families/loved ones have had to be notified, witness statements being sought (I presume), the cause of the crash etc etc etc I don't really know how much else can be released until the authorities have collated and verified everything. I should imagine the Police et al have enough to do without worrying about notifying everyone in the land of what's going on.

I realised they obviously couldn't switch them off in an instant but when the Police did call for them to be switched off i felt it was the right thing. There was some criticism but as one poster said, "damned if they do and damned if they don't" which pretty much sums it up.

That is probably why he handed himself in I guess - hopefully nobody get's hurt or this guy WILL have blood on his hands.

You would think that him being arrested would be the end of it though ...

I don't use Facebook so can someone explain to me, please, how a person's address can be found or is it a case of someone recognising, say, a profile pic of the account holder?

ETA - Bad news for the young mum

How exactly will he have blood on his hands? All he did was post an ill-timed sick joke, nothing more and nothing less. It's the idiots posting personal details and threatening all manner of acts of violence that will have blood on their hands if anything happens.

Of course he would partly be responsible - it would be him that started the chain of events. However I highly doubt an angry mob will be gathering at the wrong address given his arrest.

It seems this tragedy is being overshadowed by some sicko on a website... best ignored and thoughts with the victims

I watched the video of the deceased being taken away in 6 private ambulances. The police formed a guard of honour. It was very moving indeed and I felt it allowed the viewer to pay their respects. My heart goes out to their friends and families. R.I.P.

Generally is and quite easy too. I've seen his FB page and he's plastered photos of himself all over it so it wouldn't take much 'detective work' to figure out! That's one problem with using social media. People love showing other folk what they have or where they are etc etc and don't realise at the same time they are showing the entire world!

There was a case recently where some silly twerp had made the mistake of posting derogatory comments about a boxer. Most were ignored by the boxer guy until the Twitter twerp went one stage too far and boxer guy tracked him down.....then posted a photograph of the street sign where the guy lived saying "i'm in your street now....come outside and be a man".

Thankfully it all turned out good in the end with the Twitter twerp posting apologies and i believe he eventually met him and apologised.
