That is 120m at standard quality mode. If you told the software to render at High Quality mode you might only get 60m worth of video on the disk.
The file size of the original may only be a few MB in size but if you convert to DVD Video then the file size on disk can increase substantially and the quality setting will have a direct impact on that. Higher quality = more disk space needed.
So first thing is to check what you have told Vegas to do and if it is set to the highest quality mode set it to a lower mode and see if that works.
