Tune from old advert ...
BigDuck
25-12-2014
This may be a long shot, but I'm trying to track down a song that was used in an ad campaign a few years ago.

However all I can remember is that it starts with some whistling... and then goes into a kind of subtle beat as the whistling continues.

Can't remember what the ad was, sorry

Any suggestions welcome, thanks!

No, I should maybe mention there's no singing in this tune - just whistling.

It's kind of like a chill out type vibe...

The first thing that came to mind when you mentioned an advert with whistling in was Young Folks, by Peter, Bjorn and John: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51V1VMkuyx0

No sorry, it's not that one.

There's definitely no singing in it. Only whistling and kind of chilled out tune.

Sorry for being so vague!

Hi BigDuck,

One that sprung to my mind that starts off with whistling and then gradually builds, which was also featured in a TV ad campaign a few years back is...

Goldfrapp - Lovely Head

Featured in this One2One ad featuring Gary Oldman: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5p6rKEWZBJc

Is that it?

That's it!!! Quite clearly it does have singing in it though!

I heard a version in Ibiza this summer which omitted the vocals. I'll need to try track that down. Thanks for your help!
