Hey Guys,

Can anybody recommend a impressive SoundBar at a good price. I have a Panasonic TV so would like to keep it the same brand, but it's not essential.

What do you mean by 'a good price'? It's not very helpful. I'm looking at the Which? soundbar reviews and they've tested 40 with 9 Best Buys. Out of those top 9, 3 are Panasonic. With 81% for £155 is the SC-HTB20, with 79% for £359 is the SC-HTB550, and with 78% for £100 is the SC-HTB527.

They are all 2.1 systems and the 550 has a wireless subwoofer and supports Bluetooth music streaming. Both the 20 and the 550 allow you to split the soundbar into 2 separate speakers.

The top scoring Best Buy with 83% is the Sonos Playbar for £510.

The soundbars are suitable for different sizes of TV but as you have not said what size your TV is you'll have to check this yourself.

Yes. What you mean by a "good price" depends what you are trying to achieve. For example if you want surround sound then you need something like the Yamaha sound projectors however these obviously cost a lot more than just something to improve the (to many of us) inadequate sound of an LCD TV.

I would suggest you look for a soundbar that's CEC enabled as that will let you control the volume and switch on and off using the TV remote control.
