Any soul/r'n'b connoiseurs on here today??

Trying to find a song that I always thought was by Dennis Taylor called something like 'I want a divorce'?? It has a heavy beat to it and not many lyrics but I'm pretty sure this is what's said in the lyrics. I've searched his discography but nothing looks like it's what I'm thinking of.

If I remember rightly, the backing track sounded a bit like Whitney's 'my love is your love'...you know...heavy.

Any clues??

I'm stumped. Remember any other lyrics?

Hi

No I can't think of any of the other lyrics at the moment but it may come to me later on. But...something like 'of course...I want a divorce...etc etc. It's a really smooth song. I remember dancing with a guy to it in a London club so it's slow enough for that...

Ugh it's so annoying I can't think of more lyrics...

Long shot but are you not thinking of Dont Look Any Further by Dennis something or other?

LJ Echols - 'I want a divorce' (from the LP 'A new beginning', 2012)
Slow tempo, neat classic soul, bit like Al Green. Starts with 'I'm so tired, I'm so tired, I'm so tired, let's get it over'.
Chorus runs - 'I'm saying No, let's get it over, I can't take it no more, I want a divorce'.

Hey all, thanks for these...I'm familiar with them all but sadly not what I'm thinking off...I know...what am I like! lol

It could be this one though:LJ Echols - 'I want a divorce' (from the LP 'A new beginning', 2012)
but it's not on youtube so can't hear it. But I've listened to another track of this chaps and I don't think it's him as his voice isn't deep enough??

Grr I'll have to keep thinking...
