- Don't mess about with 12 too much - some of us might actually care if that happened (no matter how it may appear from a recurring subject in numerous unrelated discussions). Natural evolution over sudden change in direction, every time. Getting him from not hugging to intense curiosity, to dad dancing, to hugging, to joyful sleigh riding - just carry it on from there.
- Second companion. As above, preferably female - full time TARDIS dweller & eventual Clara replacement, either at some point during the series or for Series 10.
- The final Moffat series. Although I'll happily take a Series 10 over a hiatus if necessary. Ending with a flourish, I'm sure, whenever it may be. Perhaps a fully fledged Gallifreyean tale at some point, without resolving the arc, now we know we can return there in the past. Could be a visual treat.
- Continued ratings success, foreign and domestic. Keep it up, Doctor.
- If we need a classic villain, then an intricate Davros story without hordes of Daleks going through the motions. Either that, or a revamped returning foe. Preferably not in the same "lets make them more relatable" vein as others, if at all possible.
- Some unexpected use of Missy. The big bad with a big bad plan won't cut it two series in a row. Perhaps a mid-series use. The Listen of the series.
- A few new writers again. For better of for worse, it's always nice to have fresh blood. Though more Mathieson would be sublime.
