It doesn't mean someone has been at the chocolates, empty wrappers do get in, I always seem to get one in Celebrations but don't find it cause for concern.

What's happened to Roses? I don't recall this many horrible Coffee, Orange and Strawberry Creams? Half the tub. What a waste!

Yuk I hate Roses. They taste so artificial.

On a related subject I once bought a pack of mini cheddars and there were 5 bags and a sealed empty bag in there.

I was bought a bag of Cadbury's Strawberry Dreams for Christmas. I've just opened it and found it contained only six chocolates. SIX! A total rip off!

I had a chocolate without a wrapper in mine.

Shall I post it to you?

I used to like Roses, but I don't like them as much any more. They're not as nice as they used to be. I only eat them if someone gives me a box.

Not sure if its Roses or Heros, but I've seen they now have Toblerone in them. I know its all one big family but its still weird.

Apparently it happens more often than you would think, it is something to do with the production line skipping filling a bag, the empty bag then gets sealed and packed as normal. The bag after this ghost one is jam packed full of mini cheddars as it contains a double dose. So if you manage to get that one you get double for your money.

It's Heroes. I don't like those sickly Creme Egg chocolates in Heroes.

Also I fell out with Celebrations when they got rid of the Galaxy Truffle and replaced it with a rubbishy Twix!!

I once had a 2 finger kitkat that was all chocolate and no wafer.

And I once had a packet of bacon monster munch that was half full of the the pure flavoured salt. Bleurgh.

I had a wafer-less Kit Kat once as well. Think they're quite common.

I prefer Celebrations or Hero's ho Roses and haven't had Quality Street for years. (Although I have bought those individual purple one and the green triangle one)

Asda also do a decent own brand box/tub of chocolates but haven't had those this year.

What has happened to Cadbury's chocolate in general?
It is now far too sweet, and tastes cheap. I know it's never been in the realms of high quality chocolate, but it used to taste so much better than it does now.
I bought my usual tin of Cadbury biscuits at Christmas, they are not the same, and won't be buying them again.

Since Kraft took over it tastes different IMO.
I've heard Irish Dairy Milk uses a different recipe, perhaps thats better

I had a tub and they all tasted of coffee so I complained and apparently they are sending me a voucher.

Hmmm same...I opened it up (at home, away from the person who gave it to me), and just said "the celebration tin costs the same!" haha. I only like the green triangles; they never seem to have many of them :P

I had a bag of those that I opened last night, they cost a quid and contained only 8. Most of the content was the wrappings! Rip off, as you say.

Cadbury Roses has unveiled a new packaging design and new addition to the range, marking the next chapter of the chocolate brand’s 77 year history.

The updated carton shape includes a new lid for easier sharing, and the ‘Thank you’ messaging has also made a reappearance. In addition to the design, the chocolate wrapping itself has been refreshed to address consumer complaints.

In 2014, the number one complaint on Cadbury Roses was chocolates becoming unwrapped in the box and affecting the other chocolate flavours.

To address this, a new ‘flow-wrap’ around each chocolate aims to overcome these problems, keeping the chocolates fresher for longer and ensuring none accidentally unwrap in the box.

Cadbury Roses is also introducing a new addition to the range; new Almond Caramel Bite, the flavour of chewy caramel with a taste of almond.

Benazir Barlet-Batada, Marketing Manager for Cadbury, said:

“The new Cadbury Roses design is in direct response to consumer demand, and accompanied by the delicious new Almond Caramel Bite, we’re confident the changes will be incredibly well received.”

I once had a break away chocolate bar which was all chocolate and no biscuit inside
Complained (twice as i thought my first hadnt sent) and i got 2 coupons from the company as apology

Also has any else noticed that Roses, Quality street, celebrations ect seem to shrink in size every year?

I once had a jar of quality street and i found just 2 caramel ones inside (my favorite)
