I had my phone in my hand earlier and was writing something on ds when a screen popped up that said something about an update. I pressed back on my screen cos I thought it was about an app.


Was this the new android update?

Will it come again? How do I update my s5 over the air?

You can check in settings if there's a system (android) update available, you don't have to wait to be prompted again.

Just been to the update section on my phone and it says I am running with the latest updates. It's running android 4.42.

Could be a security update, check Settings -> More -> Security -> Security Policy Updates

You sure it wasn't an ad? Sometimes they pop up asking you to update. I presume if you click them they take you to a site to give you a virus/spyware.
