Are you suggesting BRITNEY SPEARS may be homophobic? She is in an industry surrounded by gay men (make up artists, air stylists, photographers, dancers etc). Don't be so ridiculous! She is one of the most genuinely nice celebs out there. Any reference Britney made against gay people (such as 'bitch' being a term of endearment for 'her gays') is because she is actually quite dim and not very eloquent/ well spoken.

To quote Britney directly...
In 2011, she told Out magazine regarding gay marriage, ‘I think everyone should be treated equally.’ When asked how she would feel if one her sons turned out to be gay, Spears said, ‘I love my boys no matter what.’

A ridiculous statement, although your name says it all...

I admire Richard Dawkins but that doesn't mean I agree with absolutely everything he says.

Those answers are pretty standard, and not expressing personal opinion one way or another, evading the actual question in truth. Though saying that the way she has answered with regards to her boys...seems to suggest yes she will love her children no matter what...but she doesn't approve.

I think there's a big difference between being hypocritical and changing your mind about stuff as you get older. A lot of people confuse the two. To me hypocritical means you say one thing and you do another at the same time.
But if five years ago you say one thing and then now you say the opposite I don't view that as hypocritical. I see it as learning and growing and becoming a better person.
For instance, with Britney Spears she grew up in the South and probably was around a lot of religious people who told her being gay was bad, but as she got older, traveled and was exposed to different people through music, she probably totally changed her view of gay people.

Although the line was written by Pete Townshend but the same principle applies. But I wouldn't call it hypocrisy just life not working out the way you expected.

Just to be clear, i never said Britney was homophobic. My post was to point out that Britney supports the gay community but supports and admires the teachings of a homophobic man. To me, that is hypocritical. But that isn't me saying she is homophobic or a bad person.

Kiss Farewell Tour

Started in 1992, had about 4 more farewell tours and about 8 actual tours, all after the "Farewell Tour". They are like a shop that is forever in a "closing down sale".

It was Country Life butter, he used the money from that to pay for a new PIL tour.

Bloody good reason to do adverts if you ask me.

Lady Gaga. I can't count the amount of times she's said one thing then done the opposite, or made promises that she's broken. She spouts falsities more often than she tells the truth.

The most well known is her kermit outfit early in her career, when she said she doesn't like fur and won't wear it. Now she's constantly adorned with the skins of dead animals.

The Sun City Boys aka Queen.
Broke the cultural boycott to entertain the Neo Nazis then played at Live Aid.
Dreadful bunch of money grabbers who'd play for the devil if there was a pound to be made. Freddie in particular sold his soul to the devil.

Nelson Mandela clearly didn't hold it against them as they played his 90th birthday concert and for his 46664 campaign against AIDS.

Moby because he refused to let Toyota use his track 'Go' for an advert (but they just recorded a sound alike anyway!), but then a few years later allowed several of his tracks to be used on car adverts.

very often its not the artist but the record company who allow their music to be used in adverts whether they like it or not.

She also announced her bisexuality when she hit it big here. Although it seems well known that she is a lesbian but this was a compromise for her record company/pr people. Now she wants to be big in the US she's stuffed herself so back in the closet she's come out in Narnia.
