I have one line in and was expecting to be able to use the box to record a programme when I wasn't watching TV, as I know I need two feeds for full functionality.
I have a strong signal shown on either inputs but the box wont "first install".
Can this box be used with one line in, the " help desk" thought it would, but I haven't managed.

That could be a dish alignment issue. Setting up a freesat device requires access to the freesat home transponder (11428 H - Eutelsat 28A), This satellite is bit away from the main Astra 2 group (28.5E rather than 28.2E) and probably of more significance is the optimum skew is different from the SES Astra satellites. Tweaking the lnb skew may fix it.

Do you know anyone else with a dish you can try it out on ?
