I don't see why there is so much hate for Abi. With Lauren leaving, Max and Abi will be the core (only) proper Branning family members and I think Lorna Fitzgerald has talent when used in the right storyline. I think Abi will begin on a downward spiral after she finds Ben is just using her, and I think she has the potential to be a great soap bitch!

Didn't mind her until Jo left then I noticed she didn't seem to have an anchor for her acting

I didn't like younger Abi she was so sanctimonious and preachy, then I thought she was slightly more likeable when she was first with Jay, and then just became clingy and annoying, but I do like new psycho-Abi and her weird little giggle is chilling

She is pretty terrible generally, but she is unintentional comedy gold when she's psycho Abi. Like when she tried to drown Lauren in the apple bobbing thing at Halloween!

Actually, I would go as far to say I like Abi better than Lauren as a character.

I feel like she still needs to break out of a childs role in soap though, she has never really got any serious storylines which is why I hope she is Lucys killer.
