I must say I really struggled in deciding-I had lots of tie breakers in my head that I had to break and make a decision on in order to vote...decisions decisions!

1)Best Actor -Timothy West (this one I found easy Timothy is class)
2) Best Actress - Diane Parish ,When given the material Diane ALWAYS delivers.

3) Best Storylines 1)Lindas rape -although not keen on the pregnancy aspect 2)Who Killed Lucy-I dont particularly care for the victim and its a bit too long running but has given birth to many chances for the cast to shine 3)Masood Breakdown-It was very brief but what we had was brilliant.I nearly put this on the worst list because I was so annoyed it was so short and almost forgotten but because Im a big Nitin fan I decided to look at it another way!
Worst Storylines 1)The slater fire-Alfies whole illogical rationale for the scam really bugged me as unimaginative lazy writing 2) Ians sex secret-the combination of Martyr Mick and Ian at his worst was just too irritating and frustrating 3)Biancas exit - Was Pretty crap esp with losing Terry Alderton

3)Episode of the year 1)18/4 Lucys last episode 2)17/4 Lucys second to last episode which I felt had a good tension building vibe to it 3)27/11 Denise taking Lucys phone to the Beales if for no other reason than Denise giving a torrent of verbal gold to Saint Jane and realising how much I liked Harry Reid as Ben

5)Best Newcomer Declan Bennett-This one tore me but I wanted to spread my love about but Harry and Maddy nearly got it instead!

6)Best Exit -Lucy -Very dramatic and eeeryy but glad to be rid of her!
7)Best "Villian" Babe Smith -I know she can be wicked but I enjoy it-Her bitterness is very layered and nuanced and I love her jealousy vibe against Cora

8) Best Return Martin -not much to go on but Ive already got a great feeling about this actor-especially if Martin is paired with Stacey! Great casting I think.

9)Most Improved Character -Denise because shes now found the fire in her soul and is now not bland with Weasel Ian who she was too good for!

10) Most overused Character -Mick Carter
11) Most underused character -Shabnam -Shes clearly got potential so use her!
12) Best Young actor Harry Reid -perfect casting in every way
13) Best Wedding Carol and David despite its miserable outcome and Carols behaviour at times!

14)Sexiest Actor -Really struggled with tbis personally important category but Im going to award it to .....Danny Boy Hatchard as I wanted ti make sure I gave him some love on this thread/poll and he is a classically handsome masculine cockney lad -rugged but sweet(sweetie on twitter with fans truly) that Im drawn to in real life but that doesnt subtract from Harry Reids magnetism one jot!(im a greedy one I know)

Best Actor: Danny Dyer as Mick Carter
Danny completely embodies the character of Mick for me. He has wonderful chemistry with Kellie Bright’s Linda Carter. Starting from his portrayal as the supportive father to Johnny Carter (Sam Strike) and his coming out, I immediately warmed to the character. Although, he hasn’t had a great deal of material since, except Stan’s arrival, I think when has to perform he always deliver perfectly. Danny and Kellie’s acting of the Rape Reveal recently has been some of soap’s best scenes all year.
I very nearly picked Adam Woodyatt, but in all honesty, I think that put me off was his ‘crying’ scenes. I liked her he portrayed Ian’s grief over Lucy, don’t get me wrong, but those big, hammy sob scenes were really embarrassing to watch, I found.

Best Actress: Lindsey Coulson as Carol Jackson
I appreciated how subtly Lindsey portrayed Carol’s cancer battle, without too much melodrama, but not being so ‘ordinary’ that it was forgettable. Although I find the character of Carol frustrating at times, Lindsey always delivers beautifully.
