What did Lindsey do? I don't pay much attention to her. I know she's had an affair but has she committed a crime?
I feel sorry for Joe but surely the truth will come out. In general I disagree, he hit someone and had no right to. He needs to come to justice for that too. |

I'm confused at what made him lash out so violently at Rick. Was it because he saw him punch Robbie or was it because of his rage building up due to finding out about the affair and Rick just happened to be there? A combination of the two perhaps

I haven't seen the episode yet but I'm guessing from the posts here that Rick didn't die from the punch but that's how it's been made out to look by someone?

Rick didn't deserve to die. And I don't think he was half as nasty as some other characters.
I wonder will Lindsey and Freddie will be together now? Somehow, I don't think so. Be careful what you wish for. |

Joe is innocently arrested once again. *sigh* I know it was obviously coming since he's the one who delivered the punch but it's annoying that yet again it's another innocent person. This always happens.
This is probably the time I'll ever accept another death since Rick was pretty annoying. If they hadn't made Rick so unlikeable then I would have been more against his death. Having said that, if it was between him and Freddie to die then it would have been a more easier choice. Though it's another situation where the parents realise how serious their youngest child's situation is (with Jason's body disorder) and then they die which is a bit annoying. Even though Rick was prick, I felt a bit sorry for Jason and Robbie. This episode was pretty decent. Probably one of the least offensive episodes in a long while. So it's either...Celine, Tegan, Dr Savage or Lindsey's sister? Or some other physco hiding around in the village? I suppose this SL means that they're be more focus in the hospital? I'm not really keen on that. Originally, I was gonna include Sienna for a laugh but she's still got Dodger locked up in Anna's house. Still, anything is possible with Hollyoaks though. |

If the punch/smashing his head on the pavement had killed him, instead of the Angel of Death, then it would have been manslaughter - dunno why he's been arrested for murder - it must be awful to accidently do something like that but violence shouldn't be excused easily. |

Joe had just found out that his girlfriend and the mother of his child was cheating on him with his own brother, who he suspects of being a murderer, who had also framed him for murder and was the reason why his first child was aborted, then he found Rick attacking his other brother, he just lost it and yes Joe should get comeuppance for that. But considering that Freddie and Lynsey are the baddies in this love triangle and all the things that Freddie has done, it's a joke that Joe is the one to be arrested while the other two get away. |

The affair and the cover-up of Browning's murder, although Browning was a threat to them, she was still involved in his murder and the cover-up of his death.

Oh I agree with that for sure. I hate Freddie with a vengence. He needs to root in jail for everything he's done. He doesn't even seem to ever feel the least bit sorry for any of it - he only ever seems to feel sorry for himself. Yes, I understand Joe's circumstances and I feel sorry for him but he set out to be violent to someone and I hate that so there needs to be justice for that too. In general, however, I hope he gets custody of that baby and meets a nice new lady and then buggers off with the rest of his family. |

Lovely episode! I'm liking the Angel Of Death storyline, I'm kinda glad Hollyoaks haven't hyped it up so much. Lovely acting from Alfie Browne Sykes and Charlie Wernham at the end!
![]() Whatever you think of the character's they did look upset & played that well. I wonder if they will turn on Joe or not?

In the real world Joe wouldn't be facing long behind bars.
He caught a man beating up his brother and punched him. Unless they could prove he, premeditated, intended to seriously harm somebody (which they could if they put Sandy on the stand and managed to get her to reveal what he'd said/heard a few minutes earlier, which is unikely) he'd get a few years at most. There was a case recently in real life of a young man who punched a poor guy with Asperger's for pretty much no reason at all, who died when his head hit the ground, and he was only sentenced to four years behind bars and could be out on parole in two. Scandalous, in my opinion. But I guess that's why they've had Joe charged with murder, even though he never would be in real life. They know that if he had been charged for what he actually did and under the circumstances he wouldn't be looking at a serious enough sentence to suit the storyline they intend to play out. As for the serial killer they're obviously setting up a few suspects. Holly told Celine all about how Rick bullied Jason. Does Celine exact justice on behalf of wronged people? Joe was blackmailing Kim and would no doubt fight Lindsey for custody of their son. Would she kill to see Joe out of their lives? Dennis's Dad Charles seemed very intent on establishing the circumstances of Rick's injury. Does he like to be sure there is somebody who can take the fall before he commits his dastardly deeds? Any other suspects? Freddie? Sandy? I hope they play this storyline out right, because it could be quite entertaining. |

I hope it's Kim, sorry but I don't like her.
It'll probably be someone who hasn't been introduced yet making it painfully obvious when they are. |

![]() I think the motive of the Angel of death is that whoever dies deserves it for whatever reason! Celine did say in this ep that you don't always need your parents, so that sounds like she has a troubled history with her own. I also think Celine & Porsche are covering some other dark secret regarding yet to be seen sister Cleo! Celine acted weird after the train crash. She says nice things to others & appears to help them, but I've not really seen her get emotional. I'm not sure if that's on purpose & part of the character or not. |

Another good episode.
Typical Joe gets arrested but surely they will do a post mortem which will clear him. Finally Jason has some sort of diagnosis but whether his dads death will push him more over the edge I don't know. Hope we get some scenes between Jason and Robbie about their dads death. |

"Sorry, but I had to tell them what you did..."
What's that Lindsey? So I can expect you to tell the police about Freddie and the "hospital siege" or about what you and co did with Browning? Of course not you two faced, can't keep your legs closed, hypocritical bint. |
