There was a case recently in real life of a young man who punched a poor guy with Asperger's for pretty much no reason at all, who died when his head hit the ground, and he was only sentenced to four years behind bars and could be out on parole in two. Scandalous, in my opinion.
But I guess that's why they've had Joe charged with murder, even though he never would be in real life. They know that if he had been charged for what he actually did and under the circumstances he wouldn't be looking at a serious enough sentence to suit the storyline they intend to play out.
As for the serial killer they're obviously setting up a few suspects.
Holly told Celine all about how Rick bullied Jason. Does Celine exact justice on behalf of wronged people?
Joe was blackmailing Kim and would no doubt fight Lindsey for custody of their son. Would she kill to see Joe out of their lives?
Dennis's Dad Charles seemed very intent on establishing the circumstances of Rick's injury. Does he like to be sure there is somebody who can take the fall before he commits his dastardly deeds?
Any other suspects? Freddie? Sandy? I hope they play this storyline out right, because it could be quite entertaining.”
Did anybody else notice the the way Dr S. looked at the thing in Rick's arm(sorry don't know the medical term), with the cover removed? Was that because it should have had the cover on, or because he realised that he had forgotten to replace it? The other thing, of course, is that it appears that the killer seems to be using a similar method to when Fruit Loops tried to kill off PMQ after the kidney operation.
