Time for us to start voting for Our Favourite EastEnders Character!
Over the next few weeks I’ll be asking you to whittle down a list of over 60 characters to just 1 – but before we do that, let’s see how the characters fared last year:
2014 Top Ten
1 – Carol Jackson
2 – David Wicks
3 – Kat Moon
4 – Shirley Carter
5 – Mick Carter
6 – Ronnie Mitchell
7 – Bianca Butcher
8 – Johnny Carter
9 – Denise Fox
10 – Dot Branning
Carol won last year, but was that to do with the strength of the storyline and her pairing with David? Could the Carters dominate the Top 10 following a hugely eventful year? Could Denise – the 2013 winner, triumph back to the top?
There’s only one way to find out…
Over the next six rounds we’ll reduce the full list down to just 24 places. For a character to be eligible for the vote they have to credited among the main cast and still appear in the show – or be credited child living in Walford at the time – between now and the beginning of Round 5
This means that Keeble and Bryant who have been credited among the main cast ARE included – but Johnny who left Walford on 23rd December will not be in this year’s tournament.
If any past characters make a surprise reappearance in the show between now and the beginning of Round 5, they will be included in the competition.
