Ive found my Hudl to be brilliant and as Hudl2 is here the original Hudl 1s are going at a great price on ebay etc. The Hudl 2 is around the £130 mark and u could use clubcard vouchers doubled up - think you still can.

In this months stuff magazine they review budget tablets. The Hudl 2 gets five stars but the Asus doesn't do too badly either with four

Nope £79 for 7 inch Android tablet with only 8GB flash memory, lower quality 169 PPI 1024x600 screen and 0.3MP front camera.

Not the best price at £79, should be cost around £49.

For £79 I recommend LInx 7 with 32GB flash memory, 7 inch 188 PPI 1280x600 screen and has 2MP front camera.

I got Linx 10 and absolutely loved it, amazing fast tablet, so much easier to use Windows 8.1 than my old laptop.

Whilst the Asus isn't great, neither is the Linx.

The problem is the Windows v Android argument. If you're actually wanting to play around and do a little gaming, Android is way ahead of Windows.

For browsing, Windows is way ahead of Android (I've been using Chrome on my Windows tablet - it is way, way better than Chrome on Android), but Windows just doesn't have anything like as many touch friendly/casual games - so it may not be suitable for everyone.
