With the last episode of 2014 having aired, it's that time of year again where I ask, beg and threaten you for your votes.
As they've left the show, we have to unfortunately (or not, looking at where they placed last year!) wave goodbye to these characters:
Now that we've waved goodbye to the old, it's time to greet the new, as we welcome this lot into the competition:

The rules are simple:
This year, there's 73 characters fighting it out for your votes - our biggest battle yet. 36 of them will go through to Round 2. All heats have been drawn at random. You must simply rank the characters below from your favourite to least favourite. Your favourite will receive 11 points, your second favourite 10 points, and so on, with your least favourite receiving just one point. If you mistakenly miss a character out, I will notify you via PM to correct your mistake, otherwise your vote won't count, so please double check your post before submitting.
The five characters with the most votes in each heat will go through to Round 2, with one eliminated character joining them at the end of the round. The character that receives the highest percentage of those eliminated will be the one to join the successful 35. I hope that's clear!
