About time too, 2015 is the 10th anniversary of the Nestine under the London Eye.
And Colin Baker tweeted "They're playing my song"

I loved that too! Also I love how the fireworks in the Eye went a bit 'time vortex' as the theme tune started!

Yeas, I enjoyed hearing the theme too. It re-affirms (if it needed it) just how big and popular DW has become.

I'm fairly sure it's the Orbital version of the theme tune.

Liked having the Doctor who theme music. But the music at this year fireworks was awful compared to 2012.

Was it just me or were the fireworks at that time trying to recreate the pulses in the London Eye seen in rose?

Was pleasantly surprised that it was included. Just shows that not only has the show got a high profile, but is obviously seen as the show that most proudly represents Britain in this day and age.

It was great that it was included, made us think of the first new who ep too! Liked how the Eye was coloured blue for that part as well. Shows just how loved the programme is in this country.

Getting 30 million+ BARB viewers isn't as easy as it used to be.
