I don't usually watch Corrie, but I was watching yesterday's episode and it confused me a little, because the timing of each scene is so wrong.

At the beginning of the episode it was day, probably mid to late afternoon, which was when the Windass family left. Everything was fine, then a couple of scenes later it was dark and the Windass family were back again. Then later on, Gary was outside with the posh girl and Anna and they said happy new year, then in the next scene later, Anna was already in the Rovers.

The time jumps were very confusing. I've never seen that before on Corrie.

I don't really know what you're referring to. Anna and Owen were on their way to the pub when they said "Happy New Year" to Alya. It takes barely a minute to get there. Hardly a time jump. It was the same as always. In fact in was one of the best flowing episodes for a while.

The bit in bold: I can't remember the timings off the top of my head but didn't Gary come downstairs to talk to Alya outside and then Anna & Owen came down not long after and walked past them to go to The Rovers with Alya wishing them a Happy New Year. After we saw Gary & Alya talking for a bit we then cut to Anna & Owen entering the pub (there may have been another scene between these but that was the order).

That seems fine to me.

I don't remember seeing them ever entering the pub? I thought it went straight from Gary & Ayla to Anna getting angry with Owen.

I've just watched it back on ITV player and we do see Anna & Owen enter the pub through the front doors and the second they get to the bar is when they start arguing. In fact Anna nags him on the approach to the bar.

Why the hell are you getting personal?

I'm actually a very shy person. I think and don't speak, I let everyone else talk because I feel like I don't have anything interesting to say, if you must know.

Don't jump to daft conclusions about my personal life. This is a soap forum, to talk about soaps, not take jabs at the users on it.

Why? Because he made a thread saying he was confused about something? Oh dear... The OP is doing nothing wrong at all IMO... I have debated with Firegazer on here before, so what... Doesn't mean he likes the sound if his own voice, for having an opinion/being confused about something, etc...

I've been banned for swearing before so I'm not risking it, i wasn't trying to offend him or comment on his personal life.

I agree about the time jump. One minute Anna and Owen are off to the pub leaving Faye in the "care" of the Gingernutjob, the next Garah and Ada are snogging outside to the strains of Auld Lang Syne, did Owen and Anna decide to go to the pub at five minutes to midnight then? Why was a 12 year old still up? Why did Garrah just leave her alone? Why was a nice Muslim girl snogging a madman in the Street? So many questions.
