No One has a realistic motive to kill Lucy - EE
Realistically no one had a real reason to murder her, implying it was manslaughter in some form or another, the real reason the mystery isn't exactly enthralling is because it could be anyone but for the wrong reasons. The Archie Mitchell storyline was better because not only was it not dragged out for so long, but he had so many people who wanted him dead it actually made for a riveting whodunit. The character supposedly having maximum emotional impact would suggest it will be a Beale or Branning, but either way it all rests on the reveal now because the build up just hasn't made enough of the 'list of suspects'.

There doesn't need to be a motive for a murder. More often than not there is no motive and the lack of one implies nothing

Fair enough, but they're selling it as a whodunit not a random killing.

Exactly. That's why I can't pin down a suspect I really think did it! I've got a gut feeling it's Abi or Jane though!
