What if it's not Ronnie OR Emma?
Who else was in that car accident? Roxy Mitchell, who seemingly got off very lightly. I've heard of people dying from undetected internal injuries before.

I was hoping we would get a huge twist and the person who died had no connection to the crash at all.
I thought for a moment when Nick pushed Yvonne over she was the goner but nope, but a twist like that would have been good. |

I actually could see them doing something like this. Since Cora isn't meant to be leaving, I wonder if something bad happens that makes her need to stick around.

Ronnie has to lose somebody. It's tradition! So either Charlie or Roxy would fit the bill. I really don't want Emma to die though. I mean could you survive blood coming out your ear? Because I didn't think you could.

Charlie and Yvonne were possible names I thought of during the week. Vonny's struggle with Nick in Dot's living room had me thinking she might have been killed accidentally.

I don't think anyone died. Ronnie died for 10 minutes, that counts as a death, she was just resuscitated again.
I think this proves that Ronnie is in fact a demon, and that it brought itself back to life. Clever demonic Ronnie overpowers death. |

I would say it's almost certainly the police woman who will be "offed" tomorrow, but Charlie and Phil both have a motive to murder Nick now...

I have seen photographic proof of Charlie and Yvonne in future episodes, not a sign of Ronnie or Emma, though.

It would be a twist too far IMO.
As much as it pisses me off, I do feel the "Ronnie died for 10 minutes" theory could be right. |

Emma and Ronnie are both credited for all 4 episodes next week. And Ronnie is also credited for episodes the week after. So I think the death was Ronnie tonight for 10 minutes.
I feel that Emma will suffer short term memory loss and will start remembering things about the killer again in the weeks leading up to the anniversary week. |

Whilst watching, I actually thought Roxy had died in the car at first [she was almost frozen and eyes wide open], then thought Phil might've actually killed Nick [fat chance of Phil doing any of his own dirty work], and then Ronnie [actually] died for 10 minutes. I thought she was gone. I was like - 'Nick got his wish!' [and maybe that'd force Phil to kill Nick], but nope. Emma's dying next episode, albeit with at least one more cryptic line due to being unable to pass the full story on to Max, imho now. |

Emma is listed up till 9th January. So either she dies then or miraculously recovers and then takes a little break from the episodes, taking centre stage again for the Lucy stuff. It's weird how a character who was brought in mainly as a supplement to Lucy's death inspires more sympathy than Lucy herself. Think it's because Lucy was never portrayed as a sympathetic or likeable character since she was rude, arrogant and often disrespectful to her dad (goes way back to Melissa Suffield's portrayal of the character).
Ronnie's last listed appearance is 15th January. The last listed episode on the Beeb's schedule for now is the day after (Mick and Linda seem to be back then). Maybe she's just recovering in hospital for the upcoming episodes and then doesn't need to be on for another few weeks while the focus probably goes back to the Carters. When they're plotting revenge against Nick she'll be back on the scene. There is no way they'd kill her off on a Thursday episode during a regular half hour episode. |
