Incredible episode of Eastenders tonight!
It finished on RTE1 here in Ireland an hour ago and I'm still in shock! My heart rate has gone up after that! What an amazing episode, massive well done to DTC, the scriptwriters, the whole EE team and obviously the actors that were in tonight's episode. Absolutely top class from each and every one of them. Can't believe Emma has cracked the case
It was pretty much confirmed that Lucy's death was definitely accidental, but the killer knows full that they were responsible with Emma saying to them "it was still murder". Also, where do I start with the car crash, brilliant stunt! I was when the car hit Emma and then flipped! Brilliant, tension building episode throughout.(Between the fire in the car, Emma collapsing, the baby not breathing for a few minutes not to mention that it really did look like Ronnie was dead for a few seconds!) It was never clear who was going to die and the last few minutes it seemed it was between Ronnie and Emma! Genuinely thought Ronnie was a goner. What a fantastic scene that was! Brilliant acting from Rita Simons and Steve McFadden - Roxy made me tear up! I actually screamed (with happiness!) when Ronnie's heart monitor started beeping again, I was stunned as I was certain she was dead! Even the hospital staff had given up! Very cruel EE Of course, anything could happen tomorrow night but I'm FAIRLY certain that unfortunately as predicted on here - Emma will die, without saying who Lucy's killer is. The way the shocks kept coming in that episode(Denise hitting Patrick!!) it could literally still be anyone involved in the car crash, Ronnie may not even be out of the woods yet - hope I'm wrong though! I'm quite confident it will be Emma and what a shame. Great character and actress. Still, I'd rather Emma to die than Ronnie who I adore! I loved how nearly everyone had their phones when they were narrowing down the suspects Quite clever how they showed Emma talking to the killer too She didn't seem terrified of them(as you would expect to be!) so it's definitely someone she has interacted with before and she did seem quite gentle with them when she said "it's still murder". Appears as if the killer is in denial they actually committed the crime and doesn't want it to be referred to as murder. Could well be Cindy, but this is honestly the first time I've been totally clueless as to who it could really be! Fantastic episode but did anyone else finding it strange/slightly bemusing that no one would even mentioned Emma going to the hospital(apart from Max - and he wasn't all overly concerned until she said she collapsed and saw the blood!) Even Pam was eager to get her home and not to the hospital. I was just thinking "Emma is bleeding profusely from the head, what is wrong with these people!" ![]() Roll on tomorrow night! Eastenders is well and truly back to its best imo

I'd say "incredible" is precisely the correct word. Self parody at times - Emma phones the person she thinks did it, and just about every one of the possible selection of candidates is shown to have been on the phone at the time.

I share your views completely! Rita Simons was the star of the show tonight in my opinion. Criminally underrated actress! When Roxy was screaming at the end, believing that Ronnie was dead, I was on the brink of tears.

I think I must have watched a completely different programme. Either that or I'm so old I've seen every soap trick in the book so many times that it's just not thrilling any more.
Emma. I could have shaken her, for goodness sake. |

Emma. I could have shaken her, for goodness sake. The 'phone' cliche has been done to death, as have the wedding dramas and 'cut car brakes'. |
