Nick will probably die in February, for the 30th Anniversary.

He probably will. After this episode there is really nothing more shocking he can be involved with.

I was hoping he'd die too. There's only so much a villain can get away with - although Philth Mitchell contests this.

The shock value of Nick's character reached its peak in this episode. IMO it's best to call time on the character who only shows up once every few years. I don't know if he'd be killed off on the live episode since all eyes will be on Lucy's killer. Maybe if there's an hour special on Good Friday?

I would say it would be great to kill of soap's most notorious villain in a Whodunnit plot but that would be too similar to soon to the Lucy story. Who Killed Nick could be huge though couldn't it?

Also, on one hand I have thought for a while they would kill Nick off in February but a part of me thinks Nick will always be around along as Dot is and that when Dot sadly goes Nick will also be retired as a character. He is basically an extension of Dot's character and I kind of like the fact that you can always rely on them to wheel Nick back out when Dot is in need of a storyline.

I can see Nick dying in the 30th, there is no way back for him really after tonight, and especially if Emma dies tomorrow. It he didn't die, the only sort of return he would have is either behind bars, or back to try and kill Dot again, or somthing which has been done before.

I've always thought that Dot would be the one to kill Nick. It would likely be in self-defense but I can imagine any number of characters would be willing to cover for Dot, especially for killing Nick.

I prefer Cotton over Mitchell if anyone is to be killed on the 30th let it be Phil.

I also think Nick will be killed off at the culmination of this latest storyline. There is no way John Altman can leave and then come back yet again in five years or whatever, June Brown will be in her 90s!
